alcohol. by far.
is there a bigger $ waster than alc srs?
brb bar tabs 100+ minimum every time go out
now a days:
beer is 5-7
well drinks 8+
shots 10+
cocktail 14+
looking at my CC statements and i am shaking my head at amount spent on it past year srs. its absolutely disgusting amount spent. could have put a down payment on a house with that amount srs.
next year resolution is to significantly reduce going out. maybe go out once or twice a month.

Agreed, but I also don't buy fancy coffees or waste money on a lot of things.
I can afford to be social as ridiculous as the prices have become. Trust me, I agree. The ambiance of a lot of local places is great as well.β β β A State of Trance Crew β β β

Agree 10000%
I really want to quit drinking. Honestly the biggest detriment to my life.
Drinking -> bad decisions, wasted money, gambling, blacking out, forgetting important moments in life, saying dumb ****.
I have to be 100% done if I want life to turn out the way I want it to.
The social aspect of alcohol is the hardest reason for my to stop drinking, just feel like I have to in every social situation. Brain has been programmed to act like that since I was 15.PUREBLOOD CREW

Alcohol is stupidly expensive when you go to fancy / cool bars. People blow their savings at these places and itβs sad. Strip clubs and casinos too.
You can enjoy alcohol for a cheap price if you just buy from big stores and stay in the comfort and safety of you own home. I personally only buy a few beers every month, Iβd rather consume and spend my money on legal THC products.TEXAS REPS

This is why buying your own chit, and pre-gaming, is the way to go. A 750ml handle of my favorite stuff lasts me maybe 3-4 days of drinking, and costs only $25. That's like $6-8 per day, and I get pretty damn wasted off of the serving size we're talking about. To get the equivalent at a bar it'd turn into $50+ after factoring in the tips.
Quitting altogether sounds better for your macros, health, finances. But just goes to show that getting drinks from any establishment is always overpriced AF by like 5x the actual cost of the ingredients.i7-14700k

It's not alcohol. It's going out to places for the ******ce and drinking alcohol there.

Going out to bars to meet girls is the number 1 reason. Apart from that there is no upside at all. Never drink at home crew.
This 100 percent accurate. Now a days there is no upside to drinking. The only tough part is friends. We only hang out at places that have alc. I never hang out with them wihout alc. So quiting all together means wont hangout with them anymore.

Drinking at home is actually a great deal. You can drink all day on less than $20 and gain valuable perspective on yourself and life in the process. I also get tons of stuff done around the house while drinking.
Going to a bar and doing it sucks. Waste of money."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

came in thinking alcohol. left satisfied.
where i'm from:
Beer $7-10+
Well drink $10+
Cocktail $15+
Shots $7+
that being said, drinking at home is def a money saver and i try to do it as much as i can vs going out (sometimes can't avoid the social situations).
been keeping this in the fridge lately:
tastes like trash but it's decent if it's ice cold (keep in freezer for ~10-15 min before drinking) and it's $4.99 for a 6 pack.

Bro, even drinking at home is a giant waste of money.
A case of decent beer easily runs you $25 /24 case here now. True alcoholcels will spend a hundred bucks a week on liquor stores here nowadays.
Plus drinking at home totally defeats the purpose of it. If you're gonna stay home, have some edibles instead. At least are actually somewhat enjoyable.
