Lol. This is very true.
I ran a house party 3X a week during covid shutdowns. I bought all the booze for 10 people AND food and still saved money on an average night out.
That being said, still love going out and bumping into people you know and catching up.
No matter how nice your home bar is =X= a night out with friends. Anyone posting pics or bragging about drinking at home just doesn't have enough friends to know the difference.

I think watches are WAY more of a $ waster. For the price of a Rolex I could buy a nice drink per week for like 20-30 years , meeting people and having a good time, or I could buy a watch that tells time almost as good as the clock on my phone.

Most people who drink at home and post about it have deeper issues and larger alcohol problems than those who go out and socially drink. Had an old roommate who would drink at home from sun up until sundown but when he'd go out and drink he'd baby his drinks. He'd clean out 5+ beers at home but only drink 1 while out. Drinking alone at home only works to let you think it's appropriate and acceptable to drink as much as you want where you would mind yourself in public or social settings. No one who drinks at home like that has the self control to only drink 1-2 drinks or to only stop at being buzzed.

I cant imagine going out for chit daily..coffee, beer, food, etc. Probably why most people in the US are broke as a joke. I see jokers at 7am at Mcdonalds for their daily coffee and breakfast sandwich on my commute every morning... big ole obesity line wrapped around the store every single morning. Boggles my mind

Sad to say that I virtually never go to MCD's for breakfast .Stopped and order their breakfast burrito and a mcgriddle. Sht was over 9$. The burrito was small as fck and the mc griddle was crap. Couldn't believe how much it was for such a small amount. Could gorge down on some serious lunch items from them for that price.

This. Even if you're not obese, just LOL at spending money daily on this chit. You're really that fukin lazy that you can't make some coffee and make some breakfast at home?
Not talking about 10k/day miscers, I'm talking about the Joe Lunchpails who would clearly be a lot better off financially if they didn't eat out all the time.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

on a very rare occasion I go to a bar for some beers, but paying 5-6 bucks for a 1 beer compared to just buying the 12 pack for 13 dollars? Yeah thats a no question the better deal but it can be cool being in a public spot, but again very rare for me
