Started only going down bout 1/4 to half way down and everyone grunting as loud as possible got to sixth rep then said one more, then said one more, then said one more, then said one more. Then dropped the dumbells.. I was embarrassed.... IDIOT!!!

When you do situps to get six pack abs, and added to that you raise your hands as you are doing each rep then place it on ur chest in the final position then you are certainly a cheating gym idiot

Right, I'm listen to music on my phone and listen to music on it. It's not a big deal, as long as your not being in the way.
I think talking on your phone can be obnoxious, I've been called while doing cardio but there wasn't many people there.
It's all about being respectful in the gym.

There's this guy who wears these big Beats By Dre headphones. I've seen him in the gym for a couple of months, but see no progression. He's normally by the locker talking or only does bicep related exercises...come on man...

11) Unable to care for personal hygiene.
I normally am a really tolerant guy. Everyone starts somewhere and isn't born with all the knowledge but I don't understand how some people are unable to care for their personal hygiene.
At my regular gym there is this old guy, he stinks, he smells as if he
sweat for the last 70 years and never took a bath, or a shower. Everytime he finishes in the gym he goes to
the changing room, undresses and then puts his sweaty clothes on the heating so they can dry (small gym, hasn't got ac).
He'll go ahead and turn the heating to it's max and close every window if one is open.
He then proceeds to go to sauna.
After he is finished he puts his clothes back on and leaves. He always shows up in the same clothes.
Everytime he is there and I go to the changing room I open the windows and turn down the heating, so that
his stench go away, but he always closes the windows and turns on the heating again, the moment he
returns to the changing room.

The fools who leave their stuff on a bench when all the other benches are being used. When you ask if they're using it, they say, "I'm about to use it in a sec", but don't use it for 30 minutes.

groups of more than 3 working out together... too many heads and way too much rest time in between... at that point its a hang out not a work out. leave your friends at home, come to train not take up space.

Have we mentioned Air Muscley Men: A while back, I wrote this on my ******** just for them.
I was really angry that day because of air muscley men running rampant in the gym.
I actually feel embarrassed watching the display.
Puff up and look around.
"Yes Mr. AirMuscle Dude with ILS(invisible lat syndrome)...
you do look intimidating...hold up, let me move out of your way so you can
walk past big guy. Holy, you just lifted those 6 plates on each side of
the leg press at a full 3inches range of motion. Tell me your secret...
Is it cause you walk around flexed everywhere you go, is it because
you have on a tight shirt?
What is that red stuff your drinking, must be demon urine..
I see it gives you fire for your lifts..may I but have a sip of that demon urine also.
How did you cultivate such demon urine. Did you make a pact with a demon,
and he pisses in a cup for you, and leaves it under the moonlight,
but which you can only retrieve while being full naked.
****ing sign me up for demon urine dude....
Mr. AirMuscly dude...I am your greatest fan, I watch in awe as
you do things no other can do. Your arms are 4 inches from your sides,
I can only speculate its because your supper huge invisible lats are in the way.
How ever did you put on your shirt.
Did like, angels descend from the mountains with hobbits by their side,
and instruct them to use dragon jizz as a salve on your ripply body,
and lay you in the sun to bask and dry this shield of armor you call a shirt?
Sign me the **** up!!! I want ****ing angels, hobbits and ****ing dragon jizz,
screw that, maybe if I actually cut the balls off a dragon, and have freaking
dwarfs hold them over me while an orc slays the sac, thereby spilling pure
unadulterated dragon spunk over my torso, works better..
If only I could but attain AirMusclemenship....I too would cause the gym to
be in awe as I curled 50lbs dumbbells while swinging my hips like I was screwing a desert nymph..
Yes, I may need help...shall I continue this story?"Last edited by GSpotSoldier; 07-30-2012 at 02:01 PM.

Anyone doing any exercise less than a foot away from the weight rack is an idiot.
-

I remember seeing two gym idiot moments at once.
Was about 4 feet away from a guy trying to power curl a 50 pound dumbbell with one hand. He was succeeding [Barely] but a buddy of him comes up behind him and starting patting him on the back and shaking him. I was shocked a guy would do this to a guy with a 50 lb dumbbell in his hand and he was definitely not pleased by it."Too stupid to even figure out the subtitles of trolling." - Vickissick07

this may be borderline rude, but I don't even ask anymore, there was a guy who had a power rack set up, and left it for 15 minutes to start flirting with a female who was also there, I didn't even ask, if they're not actively engaged in the equipment for more than 2 minutes, than I assume they're not using it.
oh and the Personal trainer who starts coaching me while I'm in the Middle of a set of heavy squats, you'd think that Personal trainers would have the best gym etiquette of anyone, but not this female, it bothers me especially when women feel empowered when they receive a little piece of paper saying they can teach people who to lift weights, it's like she's carrying around a blue ribbon.
hey I'm a trainer and you're doing that wrong, well you're wrong, and I'm the one squatting 3 times your body weight.

if you think that your way to train and died is the only way to train and diet you are the biggest of all gym idiots. having said that ill say if you scream at all in any of your lifts you are an obnoxious ass. try taking some weight off and doing the full range of motion that way real liftings wont think you are worthless. lmfao good lifters know that form> weight.
