Theres a kid that comes into my university gym about the same time I do every day. He does his entire workout with plates. First he picks up a 25lbs and does some barely bent over rows, then half rom shoulder presses then curls. Then picks up a 10lbs plate and does overhead tricep extensions, side raises and front raises. He's in there for 45 minutes just doing plate exercises

Holy shi.t I saw this yesterday at my gym. tall lanky m.f. was trying to bench 275lbs doing 1/8 range of motion and to top it off i could have fit two of my body's through the arch in his back. I wanted to say something for fear of his safety but I didnt want to be the ass hole to say something, and to top that off after that these two guys prob in there 30's doing deline dumbbell fly's with obviously 50 to 60lbs heavier than it needed to be and I still didnt say something and 10 mins later f.ucker was walking out of the gym red as hell and holding his arm and shoulder as if it was in pain and couldnt move it he left in a hurry too.

Saw one that happens a lot. This Guy was benching and only going down a quarter of the way. Like I could shrug the.distance the bar was moving. He proceeds for about 5 reps, gets up and looks at everyone checking to see if they saw him lift. The Guy was about 170 6'. Did I mention it was 135 lbs.

Me and a buddy were working out today and I put my workout routine, water bottle, and intra-workout up on a little 3-4 ft wall that seperates the dumbells/squat/bench racks from the cables/machines. Its gym policy that drinks can't be in the aforementioned area.
My buddy and I are doing cable x-overs on a machine right next to this little wall and this dude walks by me....He crop dusts this nasty stench of B.O. and rotten curry...I nearly vomitted everywhere. Turns out he is Indian (dot, not feather). I was looking at him in disbelief because he smelled so bad...
His workout paper was close to mine so he took the liberty of taking my pen and starts writing his sets/reps down then starts reading over my routine....I am now bert staring the sh!t outta this guy when he turns around, sees me staring at him, and says..."oh I used your pen"
I wanted to start a jihad right there and drop this kid.....
Also, on fri/sat night these indians come into the gym in packs of 3-5....they smell SO bad. Its like a cloud of putrid odor that just surrounds them...I'll give em gym idiot status just for that

Decided to work out with a guy that works for me this deployment. Asked him about what he is trying to acomplish with his squats. He goes down 1/4 way at best and told me it is because he has bad knees. This was after he gave me **** for "only" doing 135lb atg squats.

Now that I go early in the morning I've been in the routine of working in sets with a female powerlifter, she's far from a gym idiot but reminds me of a mix of musclechick and Chaos and Pain guy. She'll do the most old school strength exercises and loves to make fun of any guy around that isn't squatting atleast 3 plates. yesterday she made fun of my frame after I failed on a 550 lb deadlift. Again not really a gym idiot but makes me feel like one.

This dude comes in the gym and goes into the mat section and walks with the mat into the weights room and puts it on the floor between the smith machine, cable station and calf riase machine (not much room at all). He then gets 4 20kg weight plates off of various machines around the gym and places them at each end of the mat.
He then gets another 20 and 10 kg plate and does his various abs workouts all the while getting in the way of the guys working out. Seriously he is 20 kg overweight and spends half this time doing abs in the WEIGHTS room (there is a whole different part of the gym for that). Never does a squat or a dead or any other core exercise except some pec and bicep exercise on a machine (never touches bar and dumbells).

The more I read this thread the happier I am I work out at home now (cancelled my membership monday). I literally couldn't take it anymore there were way to many people in my gym between the old people just being in the way, the sluts wearing next to nothing trying to get every guy's attention and the d-bags checking themselves out in the mirror I just couldn't take it anymore.

She's probably angry and lonely. And probably smells bad, in more way than one. I'd never tolerate making fun of someone trying to do deadlifts, an actual hard and effective exercise. If their form was dangerously bad, I may ask them about it just to help out, but she's a female d-bag.

Using leg press today. Started unstacking weights. Guy comes up:
Guy: Leave them on man, it's my warm up.
Me: Wow, nice. Enjoy.
Proceed to watch the guy stack on a further 1000000kg and then do the smallest movement I have ever seen on the leg press.

Man there is this guy in my gym, biggest moron I have ever seen. So what he does is like sits on a machine and does 1 set, and then for the next 5 minutes he is playing on his iphone! I mean playing games! All the time!!!
Later on I'm stretching and I see him on the seated row machine, and I stretched for about 15 minutes and he only did 3 sets!!! I was like ffs! This mofo needs to GTFO!!!! Makes it worse that him and me are the only asians in the gym so people probably thought we knew eachother..
