You're a gym idiot if you spend all your time critiquing other people and don't focus on your own game.

If you expect perfect behavior from people at the gym, you're an idiot.

Characters
11. the skinny guys with the pregnant bellies who are at the gym every day walking around the track and doing some goofy pilaties crap and never have that baby
12. my ENORMOUS co-worker who was genetically gifted by God to be a bodybuilder / powerlifter, but who is 50 pounds overweight because he eats like an idiot and comes to my gym twice a month and then goes ape*&*% tossing around huge weight because he is just massively strong and then complains the next day- "I think I really hurt my back again."
13. The Personal Trainer who is teaching their beginner, overweight and weak clients to do ANYTHING BUT sweat like mad on the treadmill and do some basic lifts.
14. The skinny old guy doing yoga moves in the stretching area who walks around like he is awesome in his $100 wearable workout gear
15. Anyone who walks into the gym without a plan and intensityLast edited by ultragymrat; 05-20-2008 at 10:03 PM.

no offense intended, they are all just of that nationality, my own family is multirace. I just think that perhaps in their culture (as in many cultures) it may be a sign of affluence to have attained a belly and they do not seem to mind it at all, but they are in a healthy club, so it seems really bizzare since, they are not even trying to lose weight or exercise or eat right, that is all. Not trying to sterotype, they are nice guys, but still gym idiots...

LOL, I got one of those too at my gym, plus he's always moving around in the gym radomly from a machine to another. He looks like an hyperactive type of guy, and he's sooooo annoying. He works at the grocery store near the gym and the other day I saw him during his break buying a pack of cigarettes and a O'henry. What an idiot!
Sorry, I had to get this off my chest, lol!"Arguing on the internet is like the Special Olympics; even if you win, you're still a retard"

1. The trainers at the gyms who haven't trianed before.
2. The 6' whatever 145lb guy bragging about how much muscle he has.
3. The guy who has all the intentions but never follows through.
4. The person who hasn't worked out before and starts off doing 15 sets on every muscle. And then brags about how much of a pump he has.A person does what's important to them!!

I don't know about you guys, but I go to the gym to lift, not to check out what everyone else is doing wrong. I can understand getting pissed about someone being in the squat rack doing something else other than squats, because they are in the way and taking up space. But, if they aren't bothering you, why even pay attention. I go in, put my headphones on, look at my lifting card between sets, lift and leave. I could care less what everyone else is doing in that place.

The guy that puts a **** load of weight on the squat rack, tries to lift it, fails and walks away leaving all those dam plates to be reracked by the next guy.

Anyone who does not break parallel squatting is a gym idiot.
It's not how much you can lift, its lift as much as you can.
Lifting weights would be a lot easier if they were not so heavy.
