Good fooken luck running GVT on legs once a week lmaoo. I was out for 3 weeks after doing 10x10 @ 225lbs with a minute rest in between sets. It's fkin brutal if you're not used to high volumes. And that was just squats. The plan says squats + SDL + calf raises + leg raises all 10x10. Brb spending 28 hours a day in the gym.
"For long-range movements like squats, you need to have a 4-0-2-0 tempo. This means you lower yourself in 4 seconds and immediately move up in 2 seconds and continue this cycle. When you start of German volume training, you need to start with a weight that you can lift for 20 reps to failure. This would translate to 60% of the maximum load any bodybuilder can lift."

Some thoughts. Even if 10x10 raises your test' the most, that doesn't necessarily mean it's optimal for the muscles being worked and recovery. So theoretically if you wanted the increased test' alongside less time constrictive sets, you could probably just split it with one or two exercises being 10x10 and the rest standard, and even cycle which exercises are 10x10 on consecutive workouts.
