The vinyl on one of the cables on my 20 year old Parabody lat attachment finally gave out. I'm having trouble finding a replacement. It's 114" long, "type b" from what I can tell with a ball on one end. I can find custom length $20 Chinese ones that reviewers seem to indicate may not last more than a workout or two, and a nearly $300 domestic one.
Does anybody know of any other options? I'd like something decent quality at a reasonable price. I'd be willing to make my own but not sure if special tools would be involved.

Repped everyone ITT. One more option, probably very expensive:

I'm trying to use this site to find something I need for a small project, would anybody know what one of these things is commonly called?
Damn, error won't let me post a picture, but it's the cylindrical leg foam things that commonly go under/over your knees and angles. Site is glitchy for me too, which is making it hard to browse for stuff. It keeps resetting me back to the basic drop down menus ( Select your Brand/ Series/ Model )

I've been using vinyl jacketed 3/16 steel cable from home depot for a long, long time, along with some wire clamp components from McMaster-Carr. Though after all this time I do think about ordering a new custom cable with a good rubber stop ball at the end.
Glad to have found this discussion thread.I'm only ecto on the outside
