I just read the Muscle Milk text at the bb.com store and it sounded really good. The whole stuff about the growth factors in mother's milk and so on. Is MM really as anabolic as they claim it is? And does it aid fat loss?

Its as good as it claims in taste
I think MM is a very good cutting agent actually (despite the high calories) I use it as a meal replacement for breakfast and I get most of my saturated fat in for the day....I find that most people cut virtually all the saturated fat out of there diets when they cut and there testostrone levels start to suffer esp as the calories get lower.....
MM isn't an end all wonder product but its useful if your not getting enough fat in your diet....

The taste = unrivaled.
The claims = bogus.
The cost = too high.
I have used this a few times. I did not see anything worth justifiying the potential side effects or the cost. It does taste great, however.
The fat in MM is actually glorified canola oil, it contains high amounts of glycocyamine, and the protein is okay. I love cytosport, but i would go for the evopro or cytogainer--I am taking cytogainer and have taken evopro--it's pretty good.
there are also a lot of rip-offs that should be pretty close, but the will probably fall short in the taste category.
These are only my opinions, though. See link below for a t-nation review.

x2
I got horchata flavor and it's so delicious! (can't help it, I'm Hispanic)
Anyway, definately agree on the fat intake. I usually have two whole eggs in the morning made with a tablespoon of olive or canola oil, otherwise by the end of the day I find that I didn't get any fat in my diet. Muscle Milk definately helps get in healthy fats as well. Some people make the mistake of cutting out ALL saturated fat, which is actually a bad idea.

*canola oil is fine.
*I believe Cytosport said that it's fine anyways because it should be okay so long as there is another ingredient in a certain ratio(I think it was betaine anhydrous, but I can't remember).
*I believe they took out the glycocyamine(excpet for the old batches, which bb.com still has and I recieved when I last ordered).

I haven't tried the ON Casein yet, but I am currently using ON's Pro Complex PM Chocolate flavor. Mixed with milk it is much thicker than the standard Whey and not nearly as tasty, but I have a rather generous taste spectrum so it's not a real big problem for me. It tastes a lot like the Met Rx shakes that come in pouches that have 37-40 grams of protein in them. Thicker but certainly not unedible.

Dymnatize I would rate as a 9 to MM's 10 from a straight flavor content. A far better option, with an almost equally good flavor is (as mentioned above) Ultra-Peptide or Peanut Butter Fudge Sustain.
