Who cares. SPAC mechanics will cause massive dilution and I am unsure retail can hold it up once warrants can be exchanged to shares, earn out shares are granted, and majority ownership unlock happens. This will have fizzled out before election time.

Edit: Perhaps I am wrong and it can be GME 2.0, but I am somewhat doubtful. I think a lot of those idiots leaned blue so I think alienating a bunch of idiots could prevent that from happening.

Oil & gas companies have been very good to me just through holding, you’re getting 4%+ dividends and these companies are absolutely taking in the cash with oil at $70+.

I don’t know Exxon specifically but would expect them to hold or raise dividends, announce more buybacks, etc.

Also don’t see what will drop oil prices any time soon, feels like there’s a lot more risk to the upside but who knows

Someone on WSB posted about PAA calls being dirt cheap for jan/25 so I got some 20c for 0.25. They're up 70% overnight lol. It's a midstream O&G. There's some other ones that also have pennies for calls. Just holding stonks, this one pays over 7% divvies if options are too risky.

They are trash if you hold further out than april monthlies. I bought a few to simply gain exposure in case they plummet. I overpaid for my first put, but the ones I got today were a lot more reasonable. Again, I doubt I’ll get crazy $$$ from these, but once I can safely acquire may or June monthlies at better prices there could be big gains to be found. IV will likely be dropping over the next couple weeks. May monthlies unlikely to be playable until after April expires.

For the exact reason in the post you quoted. It’s still a meme stock and it’s a chit tier company. Shorts could easily push this thing down with relative ease at any time so I chose to get some exposure.

Trump can earn 40m in shares within 30 days of opening day if they stay above $17.50 and those shares are not subject to lock up. They can call in warrants after they’ve been trading above $20 for 20 of the last 30 trading days and once they are registered. I can’t decide if trump would wait to call warrants until lock up expires or if he’d do it to raise the cash for the company. Regardless there are plenty of sources of dilution to do this in. Once the initial hype goes away and volume drops this will start correcting I imagine.

Lol, the dick measuring contest? Biggest positions are solana, CLSK, bitcoin, and MSTR, so I can’t complain, thou some portfolios got plenty of tesla and they are flat, I don’t know what my average is since multiple portfolios. A better comparison would be in 2 or 5 years from now anyway. Where we can also compare taxes you pay on realized gains VS my zero since i buy and hold. I’m just sayin, majority of discussion on the forum is timing the market and unprofitable stocks. Just pointing that out.

Expecting another bitcoin pop with all time high in the next couple days, even Satoshi (Adam Back) thinks so, let’s see if he is right. Too many indicators point to a massive pop.

But you don’t talk shyt about what I’m doing if you aren’t confident enough to back it up. My strategy has always been about the same taking relatively high risk positions that don’t cost much and hope they make a big move. I’ve hit a couple 10x or better on warrants I traded like DMS. Even SABS warrants I managed to average down and come away alright even though that was close to becoming a major loss after booking a $50,000 profit back in 2020.

Right now I’m sitting on FMCC common shares I’ve been buying/selling back and forth since I originally bought fnma when they were 35 cents a share and a bunch of preferred shares that I bought that have come close to tripling.

Egy is sitting at $7 which I’ve been holding since it was TGA and I bought a majority of those shares at 40 cents. I sold 1,000 at $5.80 and have 10 CSPs at $4 and $5 for June/July I bought when shares were in that range. If it holds above $6.65 the rest of my shares will be called away.

Payo I’ve been holding for years selling CCs but I think they double or triple from here.

NYCB I’ve got a bunch of cheap May/July puts at the $1, $1.5, and $2 strikes. This could easily not pan out but the reward seems worth the risk

I always start options trade with 1 contract when I’m starting to follow the trade then add a few more(1/6 of overall positon). If it moves against me and I still think it’ll move as intended I’ll triple down from there(3/6) and if it still hasn’t moved or if pricing appears to be favorable I still leave enough in the tank to double down from there (6/6 or full position sizing). So as you can tell the first 2 buys are quite small relative to overall position sizing leaving lots of flexibility if I so choose to exit the position or continue building to average down. This is what works for me when I trade and results are good enough I feel comfortable sharing. But iron sharpens iron I don’t mind if you have some thing constructive to share.

But you don’t talk shyt about what I’m doing if you aren’t confident enough to back it up. Just been irresponsibly heavy microstrategy and still haven’t taken profits. Nothing like waking up being down 50k lol… or up.no fuks given tho. Was already buying it at $150. Waiting for 3k per share before I trim a bit into Cash and safer assets. Possibly hopium but I feel I gotta take some risks.

My friend uses them. Research I've done shows they were safe enough for me to make a transfer, but I honestly was just too lazy to do it at the time.

Is there anyway to check their underlying assets? IIRC they keep the funds spread across multiple banks.

So basically it turns out that institutions and algos are just degens! They detect the word war in the news and immediately sell sell sell!! something starts going up and institutions immediately buy buy buy because they have to report to their customers that they’re buying winning assets.

IMO today I would buy a bit of bitcoin and proxies like mstr, solana, tesla, pltr, sp500, and hold 50% cash in 5% returning account to be used on any further potential dips.

I’d keep an eye on Amazon, NVDA and amd, should any of those dip, buy buy buy!

And never sell unless something fundamentally changes with the company.

If I wanted to buy PLTR, I would wait until ~$18, if it goes there, great but I'm not going to force a play.

The reality is, PLTR could go as low as ~$16-$15 before it makes a significant recovery and if you are buying at $21 then you have ~25% downside from what should be a fairly cheap price, I hope you have plans to buy at ~$18 and ~$16 if you are buying at $21. I think you are better off selling puts on it for now. Good luck <3.
