That's the plan, Shooting for 8% bodyfat by the end of the year. fingers crossed and I will make sure to update the thread when I do
True! I feel like I could gain it all back in 3 months If I tried. Endomorph problems.. Sigh.

If you are in survival overload to the point of just working and sleeping while constantly being sick then size doesn’t matter. Hence why I left that job working 7am to 10pm and took a job where I work 9am to 5pm and lost 40 lbs.
But like OP said, if you’ve been fat before, it’s so easy to regain the weight. It’s easy to lose weight. It’s harder to keep it off. Plus then if you aren’t allowed to weigh yourself and can only put your back to the scale when you go to the doctor as I do, then you have no clue where you’re at until your clothes get tight.Make It a Great Day! Mirin. I just got back to the gym as well. Same as you, sedentary as hell and don't really do anything but gym
I recommend doing cardio srs. Your body will thank you, even if cardio doesn't do anything for aesthetics... Being 185lbs shredded doesn't mean you're healthy.Sniff hard as fuk when guys pass by to smell their balls crew

Will happily answer that, I've been on TRT since 2013. I had SUPER low natty test. My dose puts me at a "normal natural test level". I haven't done a full blown cycle yet, but im thinking about it.. at that dose I was no longer progressing in the gym by mid 2015, if i'm going to chase results again after weight loss.. I may have to cycle, And I wont hide the fact.
You're totally right ! I just hate itShredded or Death

once you are over a certain age it becomes very easy to put on weight. I've never had an issue gaining weight, could eat however I wanted and drink as much as I wanted (not a big drinker though), but once I hit 43..it was like slamming into a wall and everything I ate I started to really notice the gains (fat) finally had to start doing cardio in my 40's..it's all good cause I run/sprint with the dog but it sucks having to watch your food intake now.
Great job OP, lookin good brah

Glad somebody noticed. lmao
No doubt! but 14% to 8-9% BF is a matter of 12-15 lbs depending on if I lose any LBM getting there, Definitely achievable within 3 months.
Intermediate fasting
750 cal deficit of my TDEE of 2400, I eat 400-500 more on workout days, Sedentary lifestyle.
High volume "power-building" hybrid routine focusing on strength on the big 3 lifts, and hypertrophy.
Back/chest/bis and legs/shoulders/tris working out every other day on off on off on off etc.
Whey, multi, BCAAS intra-workout to keep my energy flow and to help ward off possible muscle catabolismShredded or Death

I'm happy for you OP, and it's a good inspiration thread - BUT let's be realistic, you aren't natty, and it's more than just TRT....10.5 months....bro.
I could care less, the only reason I'm brining it up is because I want the other brah's on this forum to improve themselves, and if they work their butts off in the gym and don't start to see big results just after 2-3months they will be discouraged and quit.
To the young guys - OP is not natty, it's not a judgement, he still put in a hell of a lot of work and discipline, but don't expect results like this in 10.5 months, let alone 2-3 years.Pureblood Crew

All good man, I dont claim natty. And yes just TRT. And within that time frame, as stated before combined in my training career Ive lost 250 lbs through my cut and bulk phases.. My body is VERY efficient at losing the fat, And I know exactly how to do so. And I'm certain I couldve had the same fat loss within 10.5 months NOT being on TRT. But you're right that is ME, and what I am capable of. others will vary. We are talking about fatloss though, not LBM (muscle) that was retained whilst cutting. of course I would've lost LBM if I wasn't on TRT. Look at my legs in my before photo compared to after, notice how they are the same size almost. The fat % in my legs was much less in comparison to my torso, I still had retained all of my muscle from 2015 it was just covered in fat. Not possible naturally of course. A bodpod test confirms this my total LBM is 167.5 LBS the same as it was in 2015.. pretty crazy.
BUT all in all, I do think anybody is capable of a similar FAT LOSS granted they are hitting their target cals and in a deficit every day and not guessing, And one would still have a great recomposition (re-gaining muscle whilst losing fat) if they were to return to gym from years off.
Edit: I dug up an old photo of my first "Transformation" first year of training. 2009. Mostly cardio and bodyweight exercises. 60 lbs lost not knowing how to properly diet.
edit: I have all my progress photos on my bodyspace for anybody wonderingLast edited by OminousShadow; 08-18-2022 at 02:30 PM.

Yep, it's sick how easy it is to gain weight after a certain age. I went traveling last December through mid February, and only lifted like 5 times the entire trip and it eventually devolved into a trip where I was partying every night and eating out at least 2 times every day(usually unhealthy food). Ended up going from like 230 with like 14%BF to something like 275 and 25% bf a week after getting back. It was a lot of fun, but holy fuk it has been a nightmare trying to get back into shape over the past 4-5 months. I'll be back down in another month or two, but definitely not letting that chit happen again.
