Was away from gym for 6 years, this is my 10.5 months progress, once you’ve had it .. it’s easy to reclaim. Granted I am not where I was (DP is from 2015) and my strength is crap in comparison… but happy to be back. 15 more LBS to go

1600 -2200 cals depending on if workout day or not, work from home so the only real cals burned is from gym. Zero cardio was done in the last 8 months , just high intensity weight training.
Foods I mainly eat, oats/eggs/sweet potatoes/ 100% wheat breads/wraps, chicken , lean beef and turkey. And catfish. I have maybe 6-7 different dishes I switch around using various meat
if I’m feeling a sweet tooth craving I’ll have some PB in my oatmeal. I will say I recently discovered ****ataki noodles and you can have a huge volume of them with ultra low cals… I’ll be eating a lot of that.

I work from home now so my My TDEE is only 2400 cals(currently) I shoot for a 750 cal deficit. Non Workout days I have 1600 cals, workout days I bring them up to 2100-2200. Diet was pretty consistent, whenever I “cheat” it will unlock me for DAYS and will take a week to recover from lol. That happened maybe twice. Good job. Inspiring. Repped. I took a job working 7am to 10pm in 2015 and things for me went downhill from me there.

I don't know how you can eat 1600 without starving, other than the smoking. A lot of the young girls vape to stay thin. I'm working on ways to make that happen but I usually have to eat around 2000 or I wake up hungry like today.
What's high intensity weight training? Is that like at a F45 gym or boot camp? I do F45 but usually once a week.Make It a Great Day! Just call me Dusty. It's a Clown 🤡 World out there.

Its rough not being able to eat, Food is LIFE. *sigh* But I will say intermediate fasting helps with hunger cravings. I have most of my cals in just two meals 12 hours or so apart. The last month or so I've been eating protein more throughout the day though for optimal protein synthesis, So I am probably not "fasting" anymore, IDK. Carbs just in two meals though. And not F45 I mean just working out with high intensity, i workout every other day. Legs/shoulders/Bi's , and back/chest/tris, focusing on squat/DL/Bench for strength low reps and having accessory exercises for hypertrophy in a higher rep range, I do a very high volume workout for 2 hours with minimal rest, I estimate I burn around 1000 cals during the workout. Trying your absolute best in maintaining your strength is key to retaining your LBM while cutting IMO.
Anyway keep at it you will be at your goal before you know it!!!!!
Just hit 405 for a 1RM the other day, Depressing that I was nearly at 500 in 2015...

This is true! TBH I was shocked when my bodyfat test showed I was 14%....... I feel like im closer to 12% but *SHRUG* May be the thick skin.....

It indeed is... And I've lost most of my taste ...... I am however down to 1 pack a week, from 1 pack a day a year ago
I've lost more than 70 Lbs once before, and 30 lbs on more than 3-5 occasions through bulking and cutting. My problem is KNOWING I can lose the fat easy... makes me procrastinate and get super fat. "Oh I'll wait a month or so before I start to lose weight" ....BOOM ...6 years pass LOL
This, especially when you've been fat before like myself.
