Don't get me wrong, I think current trucks look awesome, 2022 Tundra, Dodge Rams, Chevys etc. However, if you drive that stuff within city and urban areas without hauling stuff, and you are using it solely as a get around car, you need your ass beat.
If I get a truck in 2023, it will be the new Chevy Colorado.

Lots of people go off roading on the weekends, I drive a truck because of the 4WD getting up the mountain in the winter with snow and ice, hauling (work in construction), and taking the dogs out to the beach..but it's the most comfortable vehicle I've owned, super roomy and big cab, so I drive it often (Ram Rebel)..but usually ride the motorcycle as my daily..if traffic wasn't so bad, and lane splitting was illegal (it's not in CA)..I'd drive the truck all the time

know quite a few that do, or haul the camper out to a state park/beach..once you get a truck, you'll wonder why you went so long without one.
Wife is in real estate, and we are always staging houses..never have to rent a U-haul, and can carry anything, anywhere. I'm amazed more people don't own one. Seems like every week I'm saying thank God I have a truck. srs

Not owning a truck in this day and age is a brainlet move.
It's nice not having to rely on someone or take time out of my day to rent a u-haul when I need to move something large/heavy.
If there's an accident on the highway, I can cut across the grass and hop on the service roads to bypass traffic because of the high ride height.Worst jew in the world.

Super straight crew checking in . I drive a truck out of necessity ,and have a disdain for cars as there useless .
I did like owning a classic car though as a hobby , and miss those days . Unfortunately my garage filled up with tools over the years and I ran out of storage , so toys had to go
Daily driver
Toys I miss and only drove on occasion
Make Misc great again
