Decided to get Planet Crafter on steam. It's good game made by frenchmen. I played the demo and decided to get it even if it's early access. At least they have a demo up. It'
s like Subnautica but on land. I'm playing it so you know it has a future. I have faith in these frenchmen to further development and place updates. Seems relatively complete game right now, although I just started

The problem with early access games is you’re buying the potential. A game could be on the path to being a 10/10 game but once the developers get enough money from early access purchases, they might just give up on development or half ass it since they already got their $. Sure this isn’t always the case, but I’ve seen it happen more often than not since early access became a thing, especially for indie games

Yeah I only bother with early access when it's something that's a really appealing concept that I hardly see. Like I got Skater XL and Session in early access originally, because it had been forever since we got decent skating games. Right now my two main early access games are Ready or Not and Ground Branch, because it's been forever since we got decent tactical FPS.
