Hulk just had no charisma and the acting ability of a sloth, some guy shave it some dont, Roddy Piper was a great charismatic guy on screen but never given the opportunities Hulk was given, its a shame because Roddy could have been a big action star he had the acting chops and screen presence.
Andre would suck playing football he would be on the O line and hog space and defense would just go around him plus the Qb wouldn't be able to see over him since he was well over 7'3, dude was slow as a slug lol, that was just a publicity thing they used to do that stuff all the time back in the day.

I remember No Holds Barred this was marketed and promoted heavy when I was a kid, they really put a lot of big bucks in promoting this it was supposed to be Hulks big break and make him a star, I remember my friends and I always talking about the film saying we couldnt wait to see it, it never delivered at the box office.

If I could look like that in my 70s I'd be a very happy man and I know all of you would be too.

I used to practice splits too and never got into a full one but like like an inch off the ground which was very frustrating.
I used to practice doing spinning kicks and whatnot on the heavy bag at the gym.
It's kind of cool that some actors inspired people to try physical fitness feats they never would have thought of.If you want to ask me a question:

Van Damme inspired me too as a kid, I used to try to do splits too lol, I was in elementary and watching kickboxer.
Whats funny is Van Damme wasn't even a massive star I think those Blood Sport and Kickboxer flicks were straight to video as well as cyborg? But he had a cult following he didnt get like bigger movies until later when they noticed he had a good following from video store rentals, Its a shame drugs and a gold digger got to him, women can break you that gold digger Darcy Lapier would even supply him ******* when he was trying to get clean.
Sudden Death was one of his best films.

Phukk it.
I started letting my kid watch classic action movies when he turned 10.
Just not the more extreme violent ones eg. Robocop.
Will probably wait a few more years for those.
They've been watching Last Action Hero for years though. It's the GOAT kid friendly/family action movie....and according to which an ensign might rank incomparably higher than a general, and according to which what was needed for success in the service was not effort or work, or courage, or perseverance, but only the knowledge of how to get on with those who can grant rewards, and he was himself often surprised at the rapidity of his success, and at the inability of others to understand these things

Yes, most of his videos were just to rent at the store. But, he also had quality action films in the movies too.
He was pretty inspiring because, like Arnold, he was funny and in very admirable shape. So, who would not want to be like that?!
He reminded me of a guy who probably liked ******* and one time he was on a talk show and I think got an erection talking to some woman. Thus, he likely had some bad judgment.
As a side note, I like to watch foreign news and he was recently on a French news talkshow discussing politics and he sounded very bright!
I was stunned. If you want to ask me a question:
