I don't think they mod here anymore but at the time some were actively looking for more rules to enforce here and more personalities to remove, it was horrible.

For example why were guys like Chestbrah banned? Simply for being too popular, why was there a rule that you couldn't even show blanked out nipples? Because a twat of a mod said so. Why was that 20+ page thread closed? Because people were enjoying themselves too much - the overbearing janitors completely ruined this place and then dipped when it collapsed.

Ya, I remember when ghostbrah had his like 70 pg thread or whatever and it was hilarious, just an autistic dude being autistic and miscers trying to help him and he half followed the advice half didn't, all to hilarious results. MISC could have survived if the mods cultivated what they had, tried to grow the userbase and forum and promote the environment that brought peopol here, within reason. But they didnt, they banned anyone they felt they wanted to, and a lot of the times these were the posters actually creating content.

True content was the lulzy threads--those with pictures, a purpose, etc. Brought traffic. Brought sales... etc

Remove the politics and it will be some other topic that kills the forum, thus it's not the topic per se... it's the chitty members (usually not many, but enough that they can coerce the mods into acting to appease them) who try to wrestle control of the forum so that they can control the content. That's what doxxing is all about. Doxxing is a sociopath's way of trying to control a forum by making those who oppose them fearful. It's about power and control. It's not about specific topics. People like that (*cough* Wincel *cough*) can make the mod job a miserable one. Eventually the mod resigns or gives in to them. Those people kill forums.
