Looking good man. Know the feelz....(weak, everything hurts...etc). But then I just look around, and in the full context of life, things are pretty good.
You look great, and obviously the years of heavy training is something you will carry the rest of your days!RAW lifts

Flex, i am not sure if you kept the gym membership but i have a question.
I observed for myself, i push way harder at the gym than i do/did at home, training alone.
The energy motivation and "feel" is not as intense, what say you? There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

Believe it or not, we had 3 gym memberships before covid. I cancelled all of them when they brought in the vaccine passport. Even though I did get vaccinated I refused to download the app.
I find I am just as motivated at home as at the gym. Other than Lisa I never had training partners and never really relied on anyone else "motivating" me. We always went early morning when the gyms were not buys anyway. I'm still lifting 6 days a week on average; very rarely miss a session and if I do it's usually because we have plans on a weekend. I don't miss going to a commercial gym at all, and I enjoy the extra sleep since I don't have to get up as early.
I wish I had more space so I could add a leg press and a better cable machine but otherwise I'm content with my setup:

Gotcha, i see you have a very efficient use of space there so if it works.....fantastic!
It must be me and what i require personally to get really amped up to lift heavy. There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

If I may chime in my personal answer. I get more done with efficiency and intensity at home vs. gym. For me, being the wheelchair guy who is a professional and Natural O champion, I was always and forever getting bothered and interrupted.
I get way more done at home. Just me and my Queen, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Hair Nation on Sirius XM.
By the way OP you are looking good, keep at it.*Cardinals, Blues, Chiefs, MLS *

I worked out at home for many years and it was perfect because the kids were young at the time. Then as my daughter started dancing at a studio far from the home, I joined a gym close so I could take her and train. After she stopped dancing there, I stayed. It was great. Nice social connections, made some good friends etc. I had built a new home in this time and had a great gym but never used it at home.
Then COVID came and I went back to working out at home. Now it just works. Miss the environment sometimes and the social connections. But my training now is pretty pathetic. Since I am not pushing numbers, it is not as if I need motivation. I get in and out at home easily and efficiently.
Maybe one day I will join a gym again, but I am afraid I would not be able to resist the temptation to push myself too much. I am SUPER competitive. I always loved pushing myself to try harder. Being at home, frankly I just am lucky to be going in at times. I sound like a pu$$y but it is the reality of my prior injuries and realization that the pain of hurting myself again, is not worth pushing. I am not going to make progress, I wont ever get any bigger or stronger. My only goals now are be 'fit' and be healthy. Not much to get fired up over.
It is cool though. Changes in focus and motivation leave room for a full life. The irony is I probably look the best I ever have. The advantages of paying the dues for many years.
Flex is one of the people I can relate to the most. We have followed very similar paths (with slightly different goals at times). I respect the grind and totally understand!RAW lifts

You don't sound like a pu$$y to me. You sound wise. I've said it here before, if the young me saw the current me lifting in the same gym, he'd think I was a pu$$y. The old me would see the young me training and think, what a dumbass! (Some humor there, of course, but some perspective too.)
