I hit a 9 leg straight parlay on this one. O’Malley fight was 10, but it voided. Also had a 3 & 4 leg that landed with a few singles. Not a bad night.

Volkanovski's boxing is on a different level right now. I get that you want championship fights to run long vs cutting them short, but I frankly would have called that fight by the end of round 3. I think Volkanovski's going to have to move up to LW next, cause he's pretty much cleaned out the featherweight division.

yea, I haven't been much of a fan of Volk but that was an extremely impressive performance just completely dismantling Halloway. I agree there is really nothing worthwhile left at FW and there are a lot of great opponents at LW.

What else is Adesanya supposed to do? Pull a Strickland and just stand in front of his opponent and wait to get easily KO'ed? Izzy was very active and aggressive, going first, pushing the pace and doing more than just jabbing with lots of kicks trying to take Jared's head off, not to mention those jabs were equal to most people's power shots repeatedly snapping Jared's head back.

I get what you are saying about Adensanya being capable of doing more but doesn't Cannonier have a role in making that fight exciting? Maybe at least trying to do something to win especially in the 5th round when you know you have lost but still just hug Izzy up against the cage not even trying to drop down for a takedown or smash him with elbows.

No, I'm not going to waste time exploring this twat's entire career, he already gets enough unwarranted attention from everyone else.

I did see his last 6 fights though and that was enough for me. If it wasn't for the Costa going through his mental issues and drinking problems, or whatever he's dealing with lately, we would've seen a 150 minutes of a decision snoozefest. And even Costa's TKO was boring because Adesanya was spamming his long ass lanky leg kicks like he always does. Female fights are way more exciting than that.

I do give a huge credit to Yoel Romero for exposing this clown, that fight should be added to a hall of fame for that brutal humiliation alone. And Jan did the right thing by pinning that worm to the ground with his 6'2 220 pounds of body weight and just forcing Adesanya's to lay there helpless - no more running around the octagon, bitch.

The hype for this dude is beyond anything I've seen. Poster child for UFC, on the cover of the video game, get the automatic main event every single PPV (Volk's fight should've been the headliner), all the specials he gets and all the promo chit. He deserves none of it with the way he fights. He's an obnoxious fraud.

Dustin was also a featherweight, and Holloway is actually the bigger guy regardless. Yeah Dustin had more power but more than anything he just got outboxed, just like how Volk outboxed Holloway.

If he can keep his speed moving up he could have some intriguing fights. He's a faster fighter than most lightweights and a better boxer. But I kind of agree there are some bad matchups for him at lightweight, For example guys like Islam and Chandler. Poirier, Gaethje and Oliveira could be interesting but he could get potentially outboxed by Poirier.
