Yeah that's why I thought arman had it. It seemed he had the better exchanges in the striking. But I'm not even mad

Striking was pretty even if you look at the stats - 95 vs 81 significant strikes landed. Gamrot had 6 takedowns but I don't like these being taken into consideration if no damage is done on the ground.

95 vs 81 strikes for Arman
1 vs 6 takedowns for Gamrot
1:39 vs 4:58 control time for Gamrot

I thought Arman had that fight pretty clearly 3-2, oh well. This honestly isn't going to hurt his stock and they are going to stack him up against a top 7 opponent anyways. And he is probably going to go right through them unless it's Charles or Islam.

These two are going to be atop of the division along with Islam and will probably fight again.

Shavkat is also the future of the welterweight even more than Khamzat. Both of them are like the polar opposites of each other in a way tho. Shavkat fights very calm, calculated and composed, Khamzat kinda throws caution to the wind but has a hell of a chin. Shavkat hasn't truly been tested but he ran through Neil Magny like it was nothing so that is impressive in and of itself. These two are the future of this division as well.

    Umar is also going places

These guys also have age on their side, being very young. Especially Arman, he's a lot younger than even all of these up and comers and he's already IMO a top 5 fighter in the LW division.

Its funny because both khamzat and shavkat are big enough to go up to MW and they'd both run through that division including the champion rather easily. Especially easier compared to WW

Quite an entertaining fight to watch, but based on people who know scoring the outcome is at least questionable.

I wish someone would make a league with no judge scoring. Fights go as long as necessary, wins only by KO, submission, or injury stoppage.

Yea you can skip the rest but I actually highly recommend watching the Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot fight as it was nonstop action, very competitive and one of the most impressive displays of full range MMA skills you will ever see. The grappling and scrambling battle in the first two rounds was something to watch.

Gamrot started getting the better of Tsarukyan in the grappling in the 3rd onward but still think Tsarukyan should have won the fight as he was landing heavy shots and several damaging kicks while Gamrot was getting him to the ground but never really kept him there or did any damage after the takedowns, but what can you do. The fight was very close and you never know what exactly the judges that night are looking for.
