Do muscular people, with strong neck muscles especially, have better knockout resistance than the average person does? I saw videos of Mike Tyson in his younger days doing neck exercises to make his neck thicker for that purpose.

I believe it does but not by being so strong that it somehow absorbs the impact and holds your head still, that should worsen the impact. I thing it builds the muscle to allow a quicker reaction to activate the muscles to roll and absorb impact. Like if you had strong legs and I dropped a barbell on your back like a squat. The point isn’t that you’re so strong you lock your knees and eat it but you don’t collapse either. You absorb it as you squat down and decelerate.
