Something I'll give credit to Trump is that he did made Mexico pay for the wall, the south of Mexico is pretty much THE wall. The Mexican national guard, wich was supposedly created to pacify the country from cartel violence that was created when the current president took office has been used instead to beat up and stop migrants coming in to Mexico trying to eventually reach the US.





Despite the scary news from media claiming that hordes of invaders are coming to the US the Mexican government has been spending an insane amount of resources trying to stop the influx of central american migrants into their territory (by direct orders and pressure from Trump) The Southern mexican border used to be a joke but now it's heavily guarded by The human wall.

IT sucks for mexicans tho, said national guard was created by the current president to pacify the nation and to stop the cartels, instead they're busy beating up poor people while the cartels run free more powerful and embolded than ever. The Mexican president is openly protecting the cartels he even visited El chapos mother and ordered the immediate release of his son wen he was captured.

I think Mexican deportations increased a 1000% or so (something huge like that) after Trump Threatened them with massive sanctions if they didn't control their southern border. Mexicans themselves aren't migrating much nowadays it's mostly central americans trying to reach the us
