the government has full control on what gas prices should be and has no plan to lower them. if anything they'll reach $10/g in 1-2 years. They will then massively push EV's hard. Then the price of electricity will sky rocket. You ever think what kind of powered machinery is mining for those precious metals? are they electric? didn't think so
