lol its kind of a dying profession. my dad collects antique cameras and used to use digital all the time when working, or taking pics at home. we had a dark room in the basement to make the pics in the 90s. The cameras from the 30-70s are worth quite a bit (especially the german ones). Phones totally killed the profession of photography considering Iphones are almost as good as some digital cameras.

photography is def not dying. ppl still go to Walgreens and other spots for a passport pic. ppl still higher ppl to take headshots for work. also, its rear for a picture to look not just as high quality as a pro camera but also as intentional.

Filters have ruined photography tbh.

For me it's a hobby. I enjoy traveling and have taken an interest in taking photographs during them. Cellphones have come a long way but I find interchangeable lens camera still allows me to take far better photos.

This, have done some boudoir photography for friends escorting and ex gfs/fwbs, meeting girls in clubs/raves, then showing them my spicy insta has worked wonders
