    How much do you think I can Bench?

    I have very limited access in as home gym and don't have a bench press. For chest I do 50 LB DB press 12,10,8,8 and then Incline 40 LB DB 8,8,8,8 total of 8 sets... Haven't benched in 2 years how much would y'all reckon I can hit 135 for based on my DB presses?

    But are you a seasoned bencher if you've never failed a set by yourself and had to roll the bar down to your waist until you can sit up and breathe, or dump the weight to the side as it guillotines you?

    How much were you benching before?

    I hadn't benched in a good 2 years and was able to hit about 77% my previous one-rep max a couple months ago, just screwing around.

    Why is this a theoretical Q? If you want to know how much you can bench, find a friend with one or get a free trial membership at a gym & do it.

    People have all sorts of crap form with dbs & bbs so no one can predict anything for you. Aside from the fact that no one in the world will ever care whether you can hit 135.
