Hit the season in Michigan where this becomes an at least weekly chore until November. Could just pay someone to do it, but that seems lazy as mowing and any other trimming probably doesn’t take more than 90 minutes of time a week. Don’t want my place looking like some vacant trap house but the whole process seems so boomer..
Muh straight lines!
Muh edging, weed whacking, weeding, and blowing!
Muh curb apeal!
Guess this is one area I can get down with rentcel cope. If your goal is having the nicest yard on your street, you might be a boomer

100%. Boomers do nothing in their life other than trying to flex on other Boomers and older Millenials.
Whenever Larry is outside spending hours manicuring his perfect green lawn, I make sure to let him see me loading up the mountain bikes or kayaks on the car for a nice trip into the woods. I hope he realizes how he has no life.*Genocide all pitbulls crew*

I pay someone, not trying to work all week to wake up early on Saturday and mow. Maybe once I retire, but even then Ill probably find a more fun use of my time. I have had some friends give me chit for paying like it makes you more of a man to use a lawnmower lol.

No boomer here but I mow it because it needs it. If mower breaks...99% time i can fix it. I take pride in my possessions and knowing i can do something other than pick up a phone to hire someone to 'save time' and for what? To sleep in so you can game later? sure as hell ain't to go out and experience the 'outdoors'. Now, had you said it was to rest up for the Gay parade, march for a liberal utopia and defunding the police, while making "nothing in here of value' signs for your leased BMW not to get broken in...THEN i would believe you. Fkn lol @ zoomers and millennials. Now, hurry back to your online petition for free education before it logs you out.

Just spread some weed & feed on Sunday.
I can see how you think it's Boomermaxing but I see it as taking pride in what I have. I could pay someone but when I have the time, the interest and the ability.....why? What takes me 2 hours on Saturday or Sunday morning is not worth paying someone $85/week (yes that's what I was quoted....I have a 3 tiered back yard with about 18' total elevation and an acre overall) to zoom through my yard with no care/respect.

I keep my grass cut once every 2-3 weeks (have a lot of shade so doesn't grow as fast).
I trim my bushes once a year.
During fall season, leaves start falling, and I don't even care. I leave them there all season and in January I pay someone to get the leaves up once a year once they are done falling.

I dont nap, I spend my weekend days out and about doing things and usually dont get back home until late that night. It’s just a cost benefit analysis, I can waste an hour or two on the weekends doing something I despise, or I can pay someone for what to me is pennies a year to do just as good of a job as I would do.
I dont hate on guys who take pride and get joy from doing their own yard work, I just think it’s funny so many seem to hate on other bros for not enjoying it and having the funds to outsource. I also have a maid because I hate cleaning and can afford it. The whole point of working all week to make decent money is to use it to maximize doing what you want on your time off instead of menial chores imo.Last edited by nm1891; 05-03-2022 at 06:11 AM.

I'll never mow another lawn in my goddamn life, BET
Can't even imagine going through the fuking work week excited to finally taste freedom only to have to mow the fuking yard, fix home appliances, and other dumb BS
I wouldn't want to do that sht on my 3 day weekend and I'd 1000% blow my brains all over the yard if I had to do it after a 5 day work week. Just LMFAO𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗

I pay someone to mow mine. I have a large ditch that's hard on transmissions. I'd need a $8k commercial lawn mower to make it last. I can get my yard mowed for YEARS for $8k @$100/each time. I have an acre and to do it myself takes about 3 hours IF it hasn't rained, then I'm stuck with a shaggy yard or having to do it after work when I get home at 530. Plus, I live in the south, but I FUKING hate the heat. Well worth it to me to have someone do it. Hell, many of those times I'm in my shop working on something already making $$.

Pay a service. Rentcels have it built into their rent. My time is worth more than $40/hrs.
Same with a maid service each week. I pay $150 and don't need to vacuum much or have any grunge.Life is easy when you take personal responsibility

Not at all (have never recorded at a show tho), but getting back home at 1am, having a few more drinks, doing some blow and phucking for another few hours is. I party like a degenerate, dont give a flying phuck, that’s what I enjoy. Not going to be sitting on my deathbed wishing I spent more time mowing and edging lol.
