It finally came, it’s beautiful. And the scent is magnificent. Strong. I prob over sprayed but F it. If you are paying niche prices, they all should come packaged like this. Top notch.

Got to try some Xerjoffs today.

Erba Pure- loud blast of a smell. Herbal essence shampoo vibe. Nice and pleasing but young female suited to me tbh.

40 Knots-Alot going on here. Got whiffs of aquatic notes, sweet notes, vanilla notes. Opening had almost a lipstick/iris note that threw me off a bit. Not sure what to make of it.

Mefisto Gentiluomo- nice classic masculine clean smell. Makes me think of Drakkar Noir vibes. Has a bit of soapiness in the drydown that might get a little cloying to me. Probably worth another try.

Look at Creed who only gives you a cardboard box. Yet the prices of their scents are about the same as Xerjoff or even more.

Creeds such a rip off. Been saying this since I started this hobby, along with Tom Ford. retail pricing is insane. Plus add in the watered down versions and batch variations plus Creed is not all that really "niche", nothing unique really.

Looks nice, but am I the only one who doesn't give a single fuk what box a bottle comes in? I'm not wearing the box or the packaging. It just unnecessarily hikes up the price.

Watch makers and knife makers do this sh!t and it pisses me off. Let's take a $200 watch, throw it in a puffy $9 padded velvet box, and sell it for $300. SAD! </rant>

Personally I think Ivory Route is a stand out from the brand. Just a nice warm spicy scent. Nothing obnoxious about it, excellent in the cold weather and it lasts.

You seem to like blue scents so not really sure where to go with that one.

Knowing you, I think you'd like Torino 21 the best. It has mint and lemon and green herbal notes. Not my cup of tea, but I can't see you not enjoying it. Also get your nose on Nio. It's their most citrusy/vetiver heavy freshie.

The Tornio line gets a TON of hype on Youtube. Never really got into them. Nio is a solid citrus scent though.

Yeah, I like the OG Torino. It's more of a gourmand type scent. But the flankers (21, 22, 23, etc) don't do anything for me. I'm not even sure you could call them flankers, as they have no resemblance to the first Torino.
