$4.11 in 2008 is the ALL TIME NATIONAL AVERAGE RECORD. The National Average is $4.17.3 today(March 8th) and rising very fast daily.
It's an all time record and the records set this Spring/Summer would put that record WAY out of reach of all younger generations that are alive today.

Only thing I’ll add is adjusted for inflation, $4.11 in 2008 would be about $5.37 today. So there’s still some room to grow before we hit a true all time high.

That said, with the cost of everything else inflated, our purchasing power is lower than ever so it sure feels like an all time high.

"inflation" is also being manipulated. Companies are drasticlaly increasing prices and making more profit, because the average consumer is expecting to pay more for everythng when not everything should be more expensive. They're going to keep increasing prices, until they hit a resistence and find the sweet spot before people decide it's too expensive to purchase. (Ded fkn Srs)

Most of America has no reliable public transportation and tons of people have like hour commutes. I live 10 minutes from work so it's not that bad yet but at my old job I was driving 35 miles each way to work and that would have sucked to have these gas prices.
