Bro that’s every lifters daily life. Especially as a small natty, I can go from looking absolutely shredded with my muscles pumped for no obvious reason, to looking like a flat and a skinny twig that barely started lifting. All in our heads in reality though.

The best way I've found to combat this is to look at other people size (not muscles) because you can tell when an object is smaller than you. This probably won't make sense but it helps me.

Mirrors at home, lighting is bad so I accepted it a long time ago.

Mirrors at other places, lighting is better than my place so I feel good.

Besides, the image we see in the mirror is the reverse image of what other people see.

Yeah for me it's the comparison. I'll look ok in my mirror at home, and then at the gym I'm just tiny in comparison to most people. I have bad arm genetics, and I've been historically bad with training arms, so I think my weak arms contribute a lot.

Feels. I've thought of your threads a few times walking around getting mogged by groups of women. Been a few occasions where all the women nearby have been like 5'10" (no heels/boots). tf mang. Some big people these days indeed.
