First off i cant believe im writing this but given the situation that the world is in i feel I should discuss this with people, especially you.. the misc. Lets start with items that you and your family will need in case of war.


1) Shelter-Make sure if a nuclear blast occurs, you're inside a solid building and stay away from windows and roof. If you have a bunker or basement even better.

2) Water-Make sure you get enough for the family and pets

3) canned food-Make sure you get food that has a long shelf life. I have a ton of food form a company called Mountain House,which you can get at outdoor world. They have a shelf life of 30 years. Costco also has emergency food kit for $70. I have bought 5 cases. Dont forget food for your pets. If you have babies make sure you have enough baby food, stored breast milk in cold storage or formula. Also for fruits and vegetables get freeze dried fruits and vegetables. Also V8 low sodium vegetables juice cans are great thing to have in the pantry to get your vegetables in. Low sodium and sugar is not high.

4) Power- Check out a company called goal zero. Their stuff is legit. Other companies that make solar generators are bluetti, and titan. They have generators that power your house without gasoline and just the sunlight. Also get batteries, candles, matches.

5) Vitamins- Make sure you have essential vitamins on hands, lots of them. Also make sure you get omega 3 softgels and Vitamin D 3...since you will be indoors during a nuclear fallout. Also dont forget iodine.

6) communications- Make sure you have an emergency radio. Also if you have a drone it could be very useful in delivering messages to neighbors. Make sure you tell people you love where you will be or where you will go once war starts.

I also have been researching mesh communications. Your cellphones will work and youll be able to communicate even if cell phone towers are out. If yournot aware please read this page srs. If the Russians or Chinese do a cyber attack its most likely going to target our communications.

7) Transportation- Make sure you have gas in your car

8) Medicine-Make sure you get whatever you need now!

9) Music,books, pictures-Make sure you get a cd player, and cds, plenty of books and pictures. These will help your mental health during the time of war.


If you have anything useful to add now is the time to share. Everyone will be thankful. Lets all hope this does not happen but if this turns south at least we are prepared to take care of our loved ones.

1. Get certified to scuba dive
2. Practice with firearms for the next 6 months to increase proficiency
3. Get private pilots license to evade capture
4. Learn various combat skills for the next 6 months
5. Establish various safe houses all across the country in sparsely populated areas
6. Pull all of your money and investment out of the bank and market and bury it in the backyard
7. Spend a minimum of 1 month in the woods without provisions learning basic survival skills.
8. Begin cutting ties with anyone who could be tortured to reveal important intel about your whereabouts (need to create separation early)
9. Get rid of your cell phone and laptop device tied to your name
10. Obtain documents for alternate identity
11. Learn to infiltrate and escape secure facilities without detection

I don't have any thing prepared for something like all out nuclear war, but I have investigated the off-grid and self-sustainable living option. For 70k or so you can get an entire decent set up: House, renewable food, water and energy etc. Last year I spent some time at a remote cattle station in the literal middle of nowhere, if I had to implement a TEOTWAKI plan I'd head there.



Having said that, global economic collapse is far more tangible threat than WW3 is ATM.
