That's not the reason not to listen to Rogain. Don't listen to him because he's a pot head.
Is this a serious question?
Of course no. By the time of the next pandemic, we'll be on to 6G or 7G and need those shots. the 5G shots will be old tech then. It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. - Bill Murray

Is this a serious question? Rogaine is a pop star pot head who made his money by being a reality TV star personality and his claim to fame is entertaining crackpots and kooks and asking "what if" kind of questions where he gives credence to any conspiracy nut by just saying "who knows, it might be true"
Gates is in contrast leaps and bounds more intelligent than Rogaine and before asking goofy "what if" questions he invests in copious research to become well read on the subject. Also, given his recognition and foundation work, he has access to the top experts in any field he chooses to apply his interest into. Whether it's tropical disease, sanitary toileting, battery storage, or global pandemics - he does his homework fully before making any statements on the subject.
The very fact that you would consider Rogaine as an equal to Gates in terms of preparedness on a topic (other than maybe MMA or eating bugs on TV) shows how misinformed you are. It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. Agreed.
Now for the bolded.. speaking from the USA perspective. Yes, the public has driven change. Massive amounts of change. It's one of the things I have felt America has done so well up until recent history. Which brings me to a thought that's been kicking around my head for a while. I do not believe (for example) the Civil Rights Movement would be, or could be, effective in 2022. The power of citizens today appears to be less than the power wielded 60 years ago. Some of the loss likely comes from the widening partisan division. Congress seems to primarily, possibly only, concerned with petty grudges and identity politics. When our representatives vote and act due to personal bias we clearly see high levels of dysfunction. Nothing gets done. Much more could be accomplished when policy - along with values etc - was the focus.Psych & handcuffs

Oh man, not another Bill Gates conspiracy theory! Scientists were warning us for years there was going to be another pandemic. It was a veritable certainty. It happened the exact way scientists said it would, from zoonotic transmission from a wild animal. The idea of pandemics from bats or another animal is not some novelty to virologists or epidemiologists. They entirely expected it.
This was a major reason why I argued so adamantly against the utterly deranged theory that the Chinese government deliberately released the virus and committed global mass homicide just to mess with a conspiratorial conman reality TV star. And the far less deranged, but still mistaken, theory that this was an accidental lab leak.
We need to understand the origins of COVID so we can be better prepared for the next pandemic. Whilst conspiracy theories give one an easy scapegoat, and help you deal psychologically with the chaos of the world, the reality is a far more complex beast. How do we prevent the next pandemic? We:
~ Beseech governments to put economic pressure to cease the operation of the filthy wet markets and outlaw the consumption of strange creatures like bats.
~ Work on habitat and environmental protection to prevent erosion of animal habitats, which increases human-wild animal interaction, which consequently increases probability of pandemics.
~ Diligently monitor pandemic potential viruses in the wild.
~ Increase funding for vaccinology and the infrastructure of vaccine distribution to prevent a disastrously slow vaccine rollout.
This is the scientifically robust and realistic means of preventing the next pandemic. Not sitting on the internet blaming Bill Gates while you fart into your parents couch cushions.Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

Yes, a training simulation on a SARS Coronavirus & how to handle the public & media with masks and silencing & jabs is totally normal months before the actual Plandemic is rolled out. Just lol.
Tell me Bodhy, how old were you when your parents told you that your birth certificate was an apology letter from the condom manufacturer?
Be honest

Bill Gates urges 'Aussie response' to pandemics
Australia's response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been labelled "gold standard" by Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft.
"If every country does what Australia did, then you wouldn't be calling (the next outbreak) a pandemic," Mr Gates said.

I never got vaxxed. I THINK I got Omicron during Christmas. I have no idea though. It felt like a flu, The whole thing was gone in a handful of days.
So I never got vaxxed and I'm glad I didn't. HAving said that, if they ever allow the traditional irradiated whole virus vaccine, I would not be opposed to taking that one."Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." - Psalm 23
