Not everyone wants to dump 100k into a piece of paper so they can be a cubecel, some people want to spend 30k on a trade and start making money.

Auto mechanics aren't going anywhere anytime soon. People ITT are talking like ICE cars will disappear off the face of the earth. People will still own traditional cars for decades to come. No one is going to Tesla swap a 1970 charger or a 2002 Camaro

I didn't miss anything, you vastly oversimplified car repair while totally forgetting about the other systems of a vehicle like suspension, brakes, and drivelines. Combustion engines still aren't going to disappear in the near future.
