I responded by proposing we catch up on Sunday night for a drink and it's been 2 days again without a reply.

I get that people get busy, but she's been active on messenger and instagram (posting stories etc).

How do you guys react in these situations? My interest for her has kind of waned now, but I don't know if I'm just being butthurt and over-reacting because she is taking her sweet time to respond. I don't want to hold out and wait for her because I could be making other plans...

Not worth the hassle. If she has the time to play around on social media, she has 10 seconds to spare to send a text if she was interested. Chicks are always on their phone. It's clear she's either not into you and/or found someone better. I recommend you do the same.

Personally, I'd have given up and moved on after she ignored me for the coffee meet unless she had a legitimate reason and showed enthusiasm for wanted to hang out. Everybody has a tough week, every week so that isn't an excuse.

But now it's radio silence again.

I get the impression she is either not interested enough or she is trying to play games with me and in either scenario I'm really not interested in wasting my time on her. If she replies in the end I'll just decline.

So as an update on the above - I ended up going out with some friends and she was there and still hadn't replied to my proposition about going out together. Exchanged pleasantries but it was pretty awkward, I didn't talk to her most of the night but she "teased me" a few times. A mutual friend asked me why I wasn't talking trying to hook up with her because she was "really into me", told her I wasn't that keen anymore as she had been ignoring me.

A few days later I get a loooong message from this girl apologizing to me, stating that she had no intention of ghosting me, that she had just been really busy, that she was confused if I was interested in her or not because I wasn't hitting on her the other night, it wasn't uncommon for her to take days to reply to everyone and she thought I had a thing for her friend instead (wut). She then asked for my number stating she was better at replying to texts. We text back and fourth a few times but it becomes pretty stale, so I just say "we should still go out together soon" and it's radio silence again lmao.

At this point I'm not THAT bothered because I pursued and started sleeping with another girl after this one kept flaking on me. I call bullchit on this for anyone saying it. People respond to people they want to talk to. I had a friend who was a horrible responder and she would say it all the time, however, when it came to the guy she was seeing she was all about texting him and didn't leave him hanging for days.
