Dr Peterson always had a tendency to go on tangents but he was always able to bring it back to hammer a point.
Now he's going on a tangent but not really coming back to the point he was making.
He was interrupting Rogan a lot too and it was pretty uncomfortable.
I hope he learns from this.

30 minutes in and not loving it. Something seems off. Rogan fact-checking one of JP's "7 million kids dead/year from indoor pollution" statements did not make me feel great my beliefs of what JP says.
Hopefully it's gets better and I was super excited when I saw it pop up, but have been kind of let down so far.

What would happen to me? What are you warning me about? That if im sick il listen to JP and conclude that im sad instead of going to see a doctor?
Every doctor would say nah dawg take some antidepressants because youre pissing water out your azz 20x/day?
I apologize you went through illness, i myself have gone through similar. But a few cases does not mean it happens to everyone.
I dont know if his background influenced his daughters choices of going to the doctor or not.
The guy preaches good lessons. He didnt walk the walk though on one occasion. Thats it. Hardly falls under taking hard drugs for every stressful situation.
Do you even statistics? Do you know how many simple things like abdominal pain, rash, fatigue, etc etc never get diagnosed. Do you know what global pain is? Medicine is very real, and an aspect of that is physical and also mental.
Im not defending the guy at all, but you seem to just be generally angry my man. Angry at JP and angry at doctors in general.

Got his facts mixed up with that but looks like he wasn’t too far off the mark:
- WHO estimated that there were about 4.3 million deaths in 2012 caused by indoor air pollution, mostly people cooking inside using wood and coal stoves in Asia.
- 7 million die per year on indoor + outdoor pollution
- 1.5mil children per year die from air pollution
- 7 mil children per year life expectancy reduced due to air pollution.
I don’t think the exact number is the core of his argument, he’s in the ballpark somewhat.
But I don’t get how this supports his argument against climate change activist? What is he trying to argue here? That we should stop polluting the air, isn’t that what climate change activists argue for? Not a rhetorical question, listened to it last night and missed the core of his argument with this point.

Still haven't watched but as I recall generally the argument is that climate change activists are prioritizing "green technology" over human lives.
What is being sold as technology to "save the planet" looks more like a big corporate/government [see: fascism, the marriage of corporate and government power] money and power grab when you look at all of the things that could be done to reduce pollution without draining more wealth from the masses.
- require all electric vehicles which necessitates a massive investment in new vehicles and power generation/transmission
- shift investment to "renewable energy" without also creating reliable base power [nuclear] for when renewable energy can't meet demand
- villainize meat as a food source while ignoring human amino acid requirements, that ruminants raised for food are a negligible source of greenhouse gases vs. transportation, the fact that large areas of land are not suited to growing plant foods, or that the oceans [great potential source of animal protein] have been nearly ruined
Meanwhile let's also ignore things that could be done to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that don't make a profit for anyone:
- reducing food waste/rotting food in dumps which would be the third biggest greenhouse gas emitter [giving food away > reduced demand for purchased food > lower profits]
- reducing transportation of products and people by encouraging local production and remote work [halting or highly taxing transport of products from poor countries to rich countries > lower profits; reducing demand for private vehicles + convenience products [time lost to commuting] > lower profits]
We have the technology to create a much higher standard of living while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions given that we are also nearing our population peak.
One road could lead to a better life for most of us, while not making the oligarchs filthy rich and ridiculously powerful.
Not that it would be an easy thing to do- managing de-growth in a humanitarian way would require that humanity overall grow the f*ck up and stop acting like a group of conniving backstabbing high school children vying for social dominance.INTP Crew

About 2 hours in. This dude has lost his marbles.
Also, Joe hinted at some episodes in February. I would guarantee the one will be with Steven Koonin about his book unsettled. Now Koonin does a really terrible interview but I highly recommend reading the book.Last edited by MarvBrah; 01-26-2022 at 11:05 AM.

JP was not as polished as pre-Covid interviews.
Let me tell you why...
The people of Canada that are red pilled, that see the atrocities that are occuring around them, are mentally beat down.
We see the rest of the world opening up, removing restrictions, our neighbors to the south have some bastions of freedom in TX and FL, but Canada has nothing.
Essentially all of our provincial govts enact the same policies, and follow the lead of the federal govt who is run by a certified moron.
This has taken a massive toll on people the last 2 years.
You can see it in his conversation, as he is seething angry at the "left wing" for destroying a once great country.
For those of us who are unvaccinated, vaccinated by force, or refuse to be boosted - we see the hypocrisy daily and it unfortunately infiltrates all aspects of our lives.
JP is one of those people.
I will give him a pass on this interview.**Misc. Pureblood Crew**

You're only 31, still plenty of time left for the chance for life to fuk you in the a$$ and you'll ponder if crying makes you less masculine then.
U married? Almost lose the love of your life to cancer? Misc. is so good at empathy and judging a person for a chit hand they've been dealt. Keep acting like a wise, tough guy 30yo. Just lol. You haven't even lived life yet.★★★ A State of Trance Crew ★★★

Are you in the states? Did you go see a psychologist or psychiatrist for your bowel issues or was this a medical doctor?
I've never heard of a General Practitioner or anyone for that matter NOT a psychiatrist prescribing anti depressants.
Sorry you went through it but I find it strange that going to my general practitioner with chronic diarrhea that he or she would automatically think to go to anti depressants. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
