You know OP, not because it is rarer mean that is more sought after. Canadian copies tend to be worth less, because they are less sought after, except the few French version (Game Boy, NES and SNES) that were released in Québec.

It's worth about 100-150 CAD on eBay. It is only worth that much because you have the original box and inserts.
The example you pulled up is a brand new sealed copy. Additionally, it has been graded. Sealed copies of old key games are collectible. Grading is popular in sports card collecting. Over the last 5 or so years, it has made it's way into video game collecting. Grading is a huge scam for various reasons, but that would require a billion paragraphs. Because other collectors are stupid enough to put value into grading, a high grade sports card or video game can see a major increase in value. This is irrelevant for your copy, because the standard in the video game industry is for games to be sealed to be graded.
It's still not a bad find. You could throw it up on somewhere like Kijiji and have 50 bucks pretty quickly without dealing with eBay's 15 percent fees, and the cost of shipping.
