sometimes but I know its just my ego talking. We're really not as important as we think we are and once you get past your ego you aren't afraid to not exist anymore especially when you realize the universe is 14 billion years old.

Yes and no.

So humans have an evolved fear of death for obvious reasons. Additionally we necessarily view the world through the narrative of our own perspective, meaning when we die, in a sense the universe dies.

Against that, well it sucks but everything dies. I'd rather live in a society where we conquered death and could just hang around for a few centuries if we wanted but it is what it is.

being 30 you are already done with half to 1/3 of your entire existence.

You only have that much time before you become nothing again and the whole world moves on.

What you have lived up to this point you will only repeat again and then its over for good.

If you aren't terrified of that im envious but also feel sorry for you.


Whats even worse is people who are 30/40 and have always followed every rule society has set for them, always stuck to "the plan" and have actually had little experience with the greatest joys in life. All for what?
