Evidence was in the 2020 election when we saw what the left was willing to do (in the open) to win an election for power.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if TX (another red state) goes blue as well to solidify the left taking over the Presidency indefinitely in the next election and future ones afterwards.

Florida is still a swing state, so yeah Democrats can win in the future, but I think DeSantis and the GOP are quite safe in 2022.

I don't know the current polling in Florida. Over the summer though when OVID numbers spiked the governors polling dropped a good amount. The Democrat press was highlighting that often.

Now that Florida has the lowest COVID infection numbers in America, I've noticed the Democrat press has stopped talking about Desantis and Floria. I'm guessing the governors poll numbers are back up again and the Democrat press doesn't want to mention that.

And with that said, two points for OP:

- Many of the people leaving CA and NY for red states are conservatives. California has more registered republicans than any other state. It's just that the populations in the liberal cities is even higher.
- One of the normal methods for states to swing blue is via voter fraud. Florida has greatly tightened the controls around this, and Desantis is making it even tighter.
