With Lana Wachowski returning to direct, we at least hope for the visual dazzlement and boundless creativity of the fight scenes that made the first two films great. Sorry, guys. The fourth flick looks dollar-store cheap and during the battles, you’ll wish you were watching “John Wick” instead.

I don't how or when Reloaded started to fall out of favor. That film got good reviews at the time, and the film drew big at the box-office (at the time, I think Reloaded was the highest grossing R-rated film ever?).

The original was excellent, Reloaded was very good, Revolutions was bad. That's how it went

I'm pretty sure it had a strong opening weekend on the back of the first Matrix, then fell off a cliff once everyone heard it was sht. I remember Bruce Almighty took over the top spot after one week.

I'll watch it on HBO Max tomorrow. The last trailer caught enough of my interest, with Neo and Trinity starting to remember what happened in the last version of the matrix.

It has a number of flaws but we got to see Zion (though i did find it to be disappointing tbh), we got a look at the backend of the matrix and how things really work, the One being an implanted concept and a predesigned anomaly is a great direction, and the action was off the fukkin chain. The burly brawl, the chase scene, the merovingian fight, etc. hnnng

Also it had one of the GOAT most epic trailers of all time. I was so pumped up to see the movie, I couldnt fukkin wait

You do realize some things are better left to the imagination?

The whole premise was retarded anyway, using human bodies as batteries? Has to be one of the most inefficient ways to make power in the universe.
