It's called a puppy mill. These low lifes call themselves breeders but there is a difference. They just throw these dogs in the back yard, in the winter, stuck in a pen all day, all night, and the only interaction they probably get is when they dump food off or come to get the puppies. They will breed a female until she can't produce puppies anymore and then dump her somewhere. They puppies are often unhealthy and not socialized properly. The mamadog wasn't socialized obviously that it attacked the kid. The only reason people came in there was to take her puppies, which is all she had. Probably abused otherwise. The whole thing is tragic.

Yep, poor people and their "bullies" and "pitties". What's more is they have straight up ruined dog parks around here. It's not all of them, but a high number of them. The owners bring them to the dog park to watch them bully other dogs. Then they get defensive when call them out about their dogs behavior. My German Shepherd likes to play rough, and sometimes she gets a little too agressive but you can tell it's all in play, it's just the other dog is usually overwhelemed and gets a bit rustled and at that point I pull her away. If she keeps it up I have to take her home. She's a lot better now, but nobody really gets upset. The pits aren't being playful, they are trying to dominate, and it's clear

I really want people to start being held accountable for their pets. If your pet hurts someone or something, you should be charged as if you committed the act yourself.

Sure. Blame the dog when the kid is left to go in alone. The dog was probably not trained and the kid was probably not aware of it. The owners have the responsibility of looking out for this ****. I have an American bulldog mix pit bull and he wouldn’t hurt a damn fly.
