Well this is getting interesting, initially it was said that a grand jury would decide if there's enough evidence to charge Watson with felony or misdemeanor charges by the end of Jan. and now they're saying by April 1, which is getting very close to the nfl draft. Not sure how many teams that need a qb will wait till the last minute to try and get Watson or start looking elsewhere to fill their need. The problem is if teams wait too long Watson could end up in criminal court which could take who knows how long to end. It looks like it's a possibility he could sit out another season and I'm not sure how much that would hurt his value to be out of football for two full seasons.

lol so two more lawsuits were filed against Watson the past few days. So now there's 24 women involved in the civil lawsuit against him. Now I'm really curious what the NFL is gonna do.

I get that the circumstances definitely point to Watson being a creep and yea I get the common notion that miscers/redditors wouldn't want their alleged daughters in the same room with him, but did he seriously do anything illegal?
And by that I mean actually convicted. Because those civil suits don't amount to chit, he hasn't been arrested yet so I say let him play ball. Everything besides criminal charges is just cancel culture.

True. I should have worded it that they structured the contract based off a suspension in mind, and that he doesn’t get paid while suspended.
NFL won’t suspend him until the civil suits / investigation are finished, and won’t put him on paid leave in the mean time like MLB did Bauer.
So he will play the 2022 season at the team friendly rate, his lawyers will settle the civil cases in the off-season, then the NFL soon thereafter concludes their investigation, then suspension realistically happens during 2023 season when the $55M kicks in.

You can't possibly be this retarded right? Like, I don't care what your personal bias is regarding this case, but just because more people say that something is true does not make any more truer than if only one person says it. That's like saying in the Salem witch trials that Sally is a witch because some arbitrary number of people came out and accused her of it. It couldn't POSSIBLY be a coincidence!
Or maybe it's the fact that Watson is a multi-millionaire and this is a civil suit in which a very large amount of money is up for grabs in the very likely case of a settlement.
Look, I'm probably in the same boat as you in that I think Watson is by all definitions a sexual predator. It's very likely. But until I see proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Watson committed a crime, then everything else is just a witch hunt. That's how our legal system works, and not understanding this makes you part of the woke brigade that is out to ruin lives because it's trendy and got 10,000 upvotes on Reddit. Which is probably where you should return to.

Blah blah blah with sprinkling the word woke in there to round up the Timmy brigade.
Like I said 25 or so different people.
What's more likely they're telling the truth or it's all just some massive conspiracy against poor little Deshaun?
Come on man, stop crying about innocent til proven guilty and be REAL for once in your life.
You know and I know he's 99.99999 guilty and you crying over the .00001 that he may be innocent is ridiculous.
You even said so yourself now pick a side instead of fake virtue signaling for a gay dying Indian bodybuilding forum that you're never gonna meet IRL.The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

06-08-2022, 08:37 AM #59Watson has said publicly that he hired about 40 different therapists across his five seasons in Houston, but the Times’ reporting found that he booked appointments with at least 66 different women in just the 17 months from fall 2019 through spring 2021. A few of these additional women, speaking publicly for the first time, described experiences that undercut Watson’s insistence that he was only seeking professional massage therapy.
LOL wut.
