Will objective news ever come back?

I mean it's never been 100% 0bjective, but only 5-10 years ago it was a hell of a lot more objective than it is now. I don't understand why no one seems to care that basically all news outlets have a bias one way or another. In fact they seem to enjoy getting into arguments with opposing sides. My local news outlet is just chit posting at this point. All they do is post on ******** something like, 'Should facemasks be mandatory?', and no exaggeration it will get well over 150 comments within 48 hours..

I don't think so. With so much online content, news organizations are in tremendous competition to get views so they will definitely hype, sensationalize, over exaggerate, and manipulate to push agendas to favor a specific audience.

Nope as soon as journalistic ethics taught in school as part of a journalism degree was thrown out the window in exchange for liberals to use the platform for political activism it was called done.

It was not more objective 5 or 10 years ago. As long as I have been alive, conservatives have been calling out media bias in the mainstream.

Rush Limbaugh literally made a decades-long career out of calling out left-leaning media bias.

Long before any of us were born, there was bias in the media as well. Look into yellow journalism. And look into some of the practices of the early newspapers when the founding fathers were still alive.

This isn’t new. And it’s not even worse. It’s just that a lot of people new to politics are starting to see it now and highlight it.

Wall street journal is objective imo. Although kind of boring because of this fact.
