I know you're just being a phajeet but I had a class which briefly discussed this film. We didn't get to watch it but instead had a AA studies professor from a neighboring HBCU come guest lecture about the film. At the end of the lecture, he challenged the class to name any recent film and he would cite why it was rooted in YT supremacy.

Every Adam Sandler movie.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn
"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Cast Away is a good one. TBH lots of Tom Hanks movies are movies that age well. The Terminal. Catch Me If You Can. Not to mention Saving Private Ryan and Forrest Gump.
Gonna move on from those though.
Movies that aged well...
TBH in the spirit of the holidays, Elf still holds strong. It's a Wonderful Life is still my favorite Christmas movie despite it being older than my dad, might not mean its aged well though tbh.
Team America: World Police aged well, unless you're woke and offended, then it aged poorly.
The obvious Star Wars (first and second trilogies), LOTR, Harry Potter, all aged well. Recently rewatched the Indiana Jones movies and they're still great, they're intentionally based around older times than they originally released anyways.
Lethal Weapon movies. Rush Hour.
American Beauty aged well tbh, watched it for the first time the other day. Also Requiem For A dream.
I think Gladiator, Troy, Fight Club, are timeless too.
Willing to go out there and also say that Ocean's Eleven aged well too. Same with some other Matt Damon flicks like Good Will Hunting and The Departed.
EDIT: Honorable mention to The Mummy as well.Last edited by Visel; 12-01-2021 at 09:54 AM.
