Do people just go to hotels by themselves for one night for no reason?

I've done this before, sometimes it's to get a better sleep, other times it was because there was a conference or a workshop right nearby and I wanted to cut out the middle man of the morning commute and not risk sleeping in.

If your downtown area is nice, get a hotel room downtown and walk to all the bars. Get drunk and walk back to your room. No driving required.

This is good advice. I went to a concert a few weeks back and took an Uber to the venue, when I did the math later I realized I would have saved a bunch of money just getting a hotel walking distance from the stadium.

My wife does it every other week. I want to go with her sometimes but she says she wants to do it by herself. Weird she also dresses up really nice too when she goes. I talked to guys at work and some said it was weird but a few others said their wives were doing the same. Our new janitor DeQuan was real weird about it, especially when I showed him a picture of my wife dressed up last time she went to do stealth camping. He didnt want to talk about it at all, must be a cultural thing that the blacks just dont understand white married women, cant relate.

Honestly hotels are fun.

I have day dreamed about sleeping in my truck for 1 night, just to try it out lol. There are people on Youtube who do this, they find places to park and stealthily sleep in their cars/trucks. Sounds like it could be fun for 1 night or something

I've seen a lot of people on social media check into a hotel for one night by themselves in the same city they live in. What's the point of doing this? Why would you stay in a hotel if you're not travelling?

My boy manages a hotel in Manhattan.. It's $300.00 a night and people are living there..!? As in living there for years.. ! How do they afford it,and why not just purchase a home or condo,or even an apartment.? It's crazy the kind of money these people have to throw around..? He tells me about people crapping in the hallways,girls arguing with their boyfriends and getting thrown in to the hallways, butt naked and having to go downstairs naked to get assistance back in to their rooms..
