yeah but i dont understand why ppl get upset about whites bringing their diseases. its not like people understood infectious disease and microbiology back then. any group of people, coming in peace or for war could have brought disease unknowingly.

90% of Native Americans were killed by diseases like smallpox. In other words, Native Americans were doomed the second Columbus arrived at what is now Haiti.

But it wouldn't have mattered. Even if the Europeans never intended on conquering the New World, they would have still wanted to trade with the Natives so the diseases would've made their way to them any way.

i am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Besides, the Native Americans returned the favor. Syphilis was completely unknown in Europe before Columbus' first voyage and appeared shortly thereafter.
