only 10% of college degrees are even worth it. most of it is trash and colleges have changed dramatically in 10-15 years. I looked through to see what my college is like now and they have marxist crap all over their websites and social media. They never had that chit just 10 years ago.

Everyone wants (should want anyway) better for their kids than they had growing up, if parents are celebrating something like this then it shows that they really cared about their childs education. Nothing but respect for that...

What I always thought was incredibly cringey was when parents got overly excited at high school graduations. Mine wasn't really celebrated at all because it was 100% expected, just like graduating from college.
