You’re starting from the assumption that all college students are vaccinated, which isn’t true. You’re also failing to acknowledge the fact that the student section only accounts for a relatively small percentage of the stadium seats, and that the students sit together for be most part. So most of the stadium is non-students sitting together. Plus it’s already been proven that the vaccine doesn’t prevent you from contracting covid and that it’s efficacy wanes very quickly. But it doesn’t matter what is causing the lack of increase, the point is that there are no mask mandates and no vaccines mandates yet 80,000 people can party together and scream for 3 hours with no noticeable increase in cases so it’s time to move on.

This actually makes the most sense.
To argue otherwise would be to say that a Supreme Court nomination celebration at the White House DID NOT get Trump and dozens of others sick even though they were sitting next to each other for less than an hour. Thus, Donald Trump made up his own Covid infection to garner sympathy and miss a debate.

I'm starting from the assumption that the vast majority of that crowd is vaccinated, which is true.
Efficacy of the Pfizer vaccine starts going downward after 6 months, so just about everyone would have plenty of immunity.
What does it matter if there is no mask mandate or vaccine mandate if I can hangout at a family bbq where 80% are vaccinated and not worry about an infection? Whether we are screaming or not for 3 hours.... honestly, most of your post is garbage, I'm surprised you copy/pasted it like it was a work of art.
You say efficacy drops very fast, but you don't say how fast because if you did, we'd still be within a window of protection.
You talk about the size of the student section instead? Are you 12?King of the Misc as Chosen by the 5 Kings

How do you know the vast majority of the crowd is vaccinated? College football reigns supreme across the south which has lower vaccination rates. For example TX has about a 52% vaccination rate, so it’s easy to imagine that less than half of the crowd is vaccinated, and either way it certainly won’t be the “vast majority”(whatever that means according to you). Also, we’ve already had more cases and more deaths in 2021 than in 2020 despite vaccinating 100,000,000+ million people so it doesn’t appear that the vaccines are being very helpful at slowing things down.
And Lold at your 2nd paragraph. “Why does it matter whether we make up strict rules and/or keep people from doing what they want? As long as I can do what I want and not be scared that’s what’s really important”. Spoken like a true Canadian.+positive crew+

Your whole thread can be summed up by this:
That quote, is the closest thing to a work of art that should be copy/pasted repeatedly.
As for the rest of your garbage, its not worth replying to because you clearly are retarded and wouldn't understand what I write.

Who said covid isn’t contagious? Don’t address the points, and then say you’ll no longer respond because people are too dumb to understand. Your whole approach to the scenario was blown apart in 3 seconds and now you’re just resorting to the same strawman about people saying it’s not contagious.
CDC - vaccines don’t prevent infection or spread
Leftists- people aren’t being infected or spreading it at these events because the vast majority are vaccinated.+positive crew+

"As soon as I saw it, I thought COVID is about to have a feast. What did you think?" host Joy Reid said about the stadiums.
"I thought the same thing. I think it’s really unfortunate," Fauci said.
"But it never happened," Brewster said, adding, "Cases are now in steep decline in every college football state across the south. Including Florida, where hospitalizations fell 64 percent last month, even as some 90,000 fans packed the [University of Florida] Gators' stadium."
"You see it on TV and it looks really scary because we're not used to seeing that anymore. But in reality I think the exposure isn't as great as we think it is," Dr. Cindy Prinz added.
"There’s been a 35% decline in Georgia, 32% decline in South Carolina, 30% decline in Mississippi, 22% decline in Arkansas, 23% in Alabama, 9% in Texas. Every single SEC state where millions of people have gone to college football games has not led to a feast of COVID as Doctor Fauci predicted," Travis said.+positive crew+

If that’s the case why are deaths and cases higher this year than last? Tons of people in Florida were vaccinated while cases were going through the roof. It’s not like there was a giant jump in vaccinations right before college football season. Vaccines don’t stop people from getting or spreading covid, so how would they stop an outbreak?
Edit to add
Things are going bad = “it’s the unvaccinated! It’s the unmasked! It’s the lack of social distancing!
Things are going good = “thank goodness for Lord Faucci and his vaccines”+positive crew+

Shhh...we aren't supposed to talk about that.
Multiple countries have seen an increase in COVID cases after the start of a big vaccination roll out.
Also, not conclusive of anything, but so far at least two reports of "all cause mortality" increasing during the big vaccine campaign.
https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/...eaths/comments
I caught a clip of a doctor who was claiming that the vaccine changes a single epitope which then makes you more susceptible to contracting the virus. I clicked through because I knew of the doctor and had one of her books previously. There wasn't any supporting evidence though and the overall tone was sketchy.INTP Crew

What you are saying is undeniably true BUT it's only a small part of the big picture and it's only the part that is supporting your own biased point of view.
If you (or anyone for that matter, not saying it against you personally) are against vaccines, you will surely cherry pick the statistics that support your view i.e. that some vaccinated people still get covid after getting the jab and that obviously means that the pandemic is still in effect and you'd be right. Oh look, person X got covid and he was vaxxed, the vaccine doesn't work !!
A person that is pro vaccines would claim that the majority of vaccinated people did not in fact get covid after vaccination...and that would again be true. Oh, only 1 person out of 129380129381029 got covid? The vaccines work!!
Because the delta variant is far more ****ed up than the original was and you can't compare them.
To add:
things are going bad = "I told you vaccines are BS, they don't work !!"
things are going good = "see, natural immunity works, we don't need vaccines!!"
It's all about cherry picking the statistics that only support your own biased opinion while completely disregarding everything else. 2021 is the year of living in an echo chamber.
This is just a bunch of useless stats and numbers that I can't fathom what point they prove...especially as a European that has never heard of most of those places.Last edited by Chris_1990; 10-18-2021 at 06:12 AM.
