Are you Law Enforcement? If not LEOSA does not apply to you. I do have a packet from work that has it in there I think, and one of the forms I sign when I off duty qualify that has the penal code section on it too, I could find it if needed but if LEOSA doesn't apply to you it's moot.

I'm mounting my scope on my Remington 700 action rifle. I do have the bubble level that fits in the action as well as the turret. When those are set, the vertical line in the reticle when broadcasted onto a wall against a plum line is off. I'm curious if the horizonal level is the critical one or the vertical? Either the scope needs to be sent back or the scope reticle being perfectly plum doesn't matter much? Which one is more critical?

I'm looking to shoot longer range, 700-1000 yards so this all seems pretty critical but maybe I'm over thinking. I'll be dialing MOA and not holding over.

It’s so dramatic and boring most of the time. I watched the first three seasons. I like the scenery and stuff like that, and there’s some good scenes here and there.

I’ll watch the 4th season just because I’ve come this far. I cut cable but I think it’s 20 bucks for the season on Amazon.

Sound like me when I got into longer range shooting. Over thought everything, however I don’t think you’re over thinking here since you just want it to be right

Shoot it and find out. it’s probably fine, is it a cheap scope? If it is the tracking probably sucks and you’re already spinning your wheels

Just don't do things that stand out to most people as weird and would have them ask "why" or could easily be argued as indicating your state of mind. Like, legal or not, I wouldn't want to be the guy who was carrying 2 guns with 4 magazines 4 knifes and a taser while wearing a gopro and telling passers-by my unsolicited political opinions, who then, wouldn't you know it, had to defend myself

how many deer have you shot at 200 yards with one? 34” drop at 200 yards. its just not a hunting round theres so many better options.

0, but drop is drop. Bullet has a 0.65 BC, so your wind call for 5MPH is 0.75 MOA

You're going to need to use a rangefinder but it's not an unusual amount of drop for the kind of scopes that are going to be on that rifle (5 mils)

Certainly not the ideal tool but it's not like you're handgun hunting.

Btw meatie you're on the reps for life crew. I picked up howler with sqrrl PB whiskey (didn't want to spend the extra $6 on screwball lol) and mixed it 50/50 tonight. Outstanding.
