Did get to shoot an AK-47 today. Not a fan of the bolt not locking open, but otherwise was pretty neat. Having shot both now, I think I prefer AR. AK74 may change it bc the AK is felt quite heavier than a AR

So my CCW firearms instructor had said modifying your firearm is a bad idea if you are involved in a self defense shooting situation, IIRC he said you shouldn't modify your firearm from a legal standpoint.


BTW i'm in Florida , how much does a modified firearm come into play if you are ever involved in a shooting incident?

I know that for LEOSA compliance I can only alter the grip and sights, nothing internal or trigger related at all, no different barrel, slide, ect. If I do I'm out on my ass.
