My TA44 has the circle dot. But it’s red. I like the circle dot.

230gr FMJ is going for $29 to $39 a box around here. Twenty rounds of premium defensive HPs for mid to high $30s.

It would most likely replace a HS510C which I actually like. But you guys have made the TA44 seem so good lately. Maybe they’ll let me take it home for a few weeks and try it out?

I think the designation on all of the TA44‘s that have the circle dot reticle is TA44-C followed by some other numbers and letters that designate the color of the reticle, and the height of the base.

The designation on my TA44 is:

TA44-C-400141

Which means:

Red Circle with 2 MOA Center Dot Reticle, M16 Carry Handle Base , Tritium / Fiber Optics Illuminated

Another really cool item that came in stock today. This is a factory Colt Socom gov marked gun. These are hard to find. Cloners dream because there’s nothing to change. The hardcore guys will nitpick over the serial number because I think it needs to start with a W to be 100% but that’s so minor.

It doesn’t say in the description anywhere but at one point the Norma white box had a bimetal jacket which would attract a magnet. Or course that doesn’t matter if you’re not going to an indoor range. But if you think you may ever it’s not worth the +.02 over the red box.

Don’t think prices are ever going back down but the buy cheap stack deep mantra is kind of out the window imo.

I have one. I like the trigger more than the original M&P one. My newest Shield has a better trigger though for sure. I also prefer the grip and the sights of the Dagger over the Glock. There's no way it's as good as a Glock overall though... Only taken it out once and had zero issue with any of the ammo I ran through it, but definitely will be sticking with carrying Glocks.

If I remember I can check a few holsters when I get home. I have a real chit memory though so I probably will forget. lol.

You buy it to dollar cost average against price increases. If you were buying it at $150/1k, and didn't have to buy any at $800/1k, then resumed buying at $300/1k it doesn't sting nearly as much and you were able to shoot the whole time.

Related...online ammo sales aren't going to last forever imo. One dumb gun law and we're all stuck buying it from the local fun store who almost certainly will charge an arm and a leg.
