I haven't watched the video yet, but just speaking generally, one taser limitation is how close you have to get. Remember that guy Tueller? 21 feet is already too-close, tasers don't have enough range to be 'safely' away from a contact weapon. There may be times a certain group of officers or department might use a taser backed by lethal force for a deadly weapon armed suspect, but, I could totally see SOP being like, nah, if you don't have to be, don't get taser-close to a person with a knife...have a gun.

I also think most cops don't have access to bean bag rounds, generally the best practice seems to be to have specific non-lethal shotguns for bean bag rounds taht are marked/colored differently and in which only bags go, so that becomes a lot of stuff to have/qual on/maintain and be able to pull out, and still suffers from that need to rely on another with a gun to immediately back up the one with the bag

Do any of you brahs store it upstairs? If so, any concern about the weight? Idk what my supply weighs exactly. But it was enough that when we moved and I tried loading it all in my trunk, it bottomed out the suspension.

Between that weight and our 600lb upstairs safe, I just don't know if I should be anxious.

Why not store it in the basement? Oh that's right, Cujo mauls your plumbing and floods your house on a regular basis. Maybe buy some waterproof bins?

I'd think 1k rds/sqft is safe. 9mm is 27 lbs/1k, and that's probably the average of what I have. Floor can take 30lb/sqft... ish.

You have to realize people put heavy fuking sht in their homes. You want to see a test of floor strength? Check out what people do with fish aquariums, and multiple by like 8 lbs per gallon for water. And then the people who buy weights or exercise equipment, and use it.

Or just two really large American size people in the same place at the same time...

Places around here at least have the shelves stocked up again. Some places the prices are high. Other places a little more reasonable.

My dad has been picking up ammunition at a place called Rural King. The prices there seem to be a whole lot better than what I can get here. But it’s about a 70 mile drive to get there.

I'm going to sell one or two ACOGs and buy a second TA44 in green

The spec sheets might say whatever they say, but, the 44 is just the one that feels right and the other compact 'cogs, while great, aren't a 44
