That would be fair, which is why it doesn't work like that.
Some people urged me to contact my senator, and I did and explained our dilemma as 2A supporters.
No idea if they'll actually do anything about it. The AFT will probably just stick my application at the bottom of the pile if the senator does contact them lol

This is my understanding, too. Although I'm pretty sure "don't let it touch you shoulder" was true at one point.
My first eform 4 is at 118 days. It seems like most of the eform 4 approvals on the Reddit NFA page are now in the 180 day range. The ones getting approved are mostly from around February 18, and it's been that way for a while. Basically the average wait is going up every day. I was initially optimistic that I would get mine in 90 days, but at the moment I'm hoping for sometime this year.

Finally had time to set up my dies and reload 9mm. It's really easy, and I should've started with 9 instead of 65cm. Just bought 1000 147 gr fns for $122, so I'll be at 17cpr.
Hopefully by the time I'm out of the 5k SPPs I bought prices will be better.Florida Crew as of 3/21

Yeah, should have mentioned I knew yours was paper. Mostly just a stream of consciousness observation on how I was initially optimistic that the eform process was going to be a big improvement, but that my optimism is fading rapidly. Hope you and brbgoingindry both get yours soon.

It turns out that mine came with the 5.5mm pivot hinge. My PSA has a 4.5mm hinge. I tried to Wile E. Coyote it by shimming the pin with some electrical tape, but wasn't happy with the result. I had to call my buddy in St. Petersburg who is going to try to get me a 4.5mm PT lock without customs seizing it.
Once again, ****ing sanctions man.I'm always angry.

This would be something i would love to do and would be a solid hobby i think.
Also, would get me shooting more.
Yeah it seems dumb AF. Read an ATF letter that says shouldering it changes the intention and "modifies" it and now would classify it as a SBR. But...lets go to a personal defense scenario in your home. How tf is anyone know you shoulder fired the weapon!?
But, i digress. Now to look for uppers to be "ungovernable." What's the go to upper these days? We still BCM hardos? Now, should i just do .300BLK for home defense use and eventually get a can?MFC

I suppose if you know the only time you will shoulder it will be in your home when you shoot somebody and you know there is 0 chance anybody present will have a camera or testify against you, or you know for a fact the government would never use eye witness testimony against you for a serious federal felony just because said witness was a poor misguided youth
but I digress

My oldest son is a junior in HS. Youngest hasn't started school yet. Mine went back a couple days ago, and I was having some feels. My wife had them worse though. I felt like a wellness check on her was a good idea the first day they went back.

I have 2 boys in HS, a freshman and a senior. School started last week and they ran into each other in the library. The senior has always liked to read. The freshman doesn’t like it but he needed a book for English class, so he asked his brother for a book recommendation.
Senior: Mein Kampf
Freshman: looked for it and couldn’t find it. Asked librarian if the book was available.
Librarian: Bert stare
