I've had more bad Win rounds than all other manufacturers combined. By a factor of 3. 9mm FMJ, .40 FMJ, 9mm bonded ranger, .45 talon ranger, the double charge kaboom .22lr I've seen happen in front of me, .357 sig FMJ that was significantly over the COAL (mic'd it) jamming up in the magazine...even when sent to Winchester with lot numbers and pictures they never respond. Fukkers know they are producing sht and don't give a fuk. Fuk them

Literally the only ammo I've had any malfunctions of any kind with, and they happened frequently. Mostly extraction/ejection issues. I'm not sure why, but I suspected under charged.
At first I thought it might be the gun, so I changed the extractor and was still having issues. To rule it out, I went to the range to test it. Took 500 rounds, 100 each of 5 different brands. I forget what all of the brands were, but I only took stuff I could get at Wal-Mart. 50 rounds at a time, I went down the line shooting by brand, A B C D E E D C B A. I stuck Winchester white box ammo as brand E. The middle seemed the best place to put it to rule out any issues with the gun itself. I had 5 failures to extract/eject on 2 different magazines, and every single one of them was from Winchester. No other issues. Haven't bought another Winchester round since and won't ever again.Misc Firearms Crew

Srs question for tax stamp brahs.
The whole point of fighting a national firearm registry is to prevent the govt from knowing "hey these are the houses we need to go confiscate from" one day.
It doesn't worry you guys deciding to get on the registered list of people with the most taboo items?480s / 370b / 495d / 235 x 2 SOHP

After using my suppressor for the first time last week, I honestly don't care. It's such a game changer for using a firearm, IMO.
Keep in mind we (most of us) have firearms with serial numbers on them. Our photos, addresses, etc. are already out there. It wouldn't take much for an agency to find out what we have. Honestly besides the price and wait time of the tax stamps, I don't care if the government knows what I have or not.Misc Firearms Crew

If you’ve bought firearms, parts, ammo, plates, etc, and used a card, you’re already on a list.
If you’re not on at least one list, you’re doing it wrong

I have a concealed carry permit in 3 states. I've testified at state level hearings about firearms ownership. The government 100% knows I own firearms. Having a registered metal tube doesn't mean that they're going to come confiscate it. The reason for opposing a registry for general ownership of firearms is to prevent the government from mailing you a list of guns to turn in by the end of the month or they're taking your kids.

I have been licensed to carry in 3 states, have my share of 4473's, have accounts at a sht ass ton of retailers of guns/ammo/etc, have forum and media posts about gun ownership...having a stamp for an accessory probably isn't changing anything.

Well, it looks like the RI house passed the mag ban. I'm completely amazed at the logic of the antis. Ike, you picked a good time to leave. This state is going to fall the way of CT and MA... I'm sure semis are next.

We loved Newport summers, but COVID destroyed RI.
I think our family is the happiest we've ever been living in Florida. I'm even getting used to the heat.
Word is that the RI Senate will pass the mag ban, and the hard-left governor will sign it. NYSRPA v Bruen, if broad enough, might start the dominoes to make that matter less, but RI has gone to ****.Florida Crew as of 3/21

First rifle build is done, a lot easier than I thought. Definitely looking to do another one in the future. I shot up to 25 yards at the indoor range in town since I wanted to at least try it out and see if it needed any work or adjustments. Besides a new magazine not locking in from being fully loaded, after taking a couple rounds out, it clicked right into place. The gun performed flawlessly right away, and I got quarter sized groupings. Even not having shot a rifle in 6 months lol. Aiming and pacing the gun works great, trying to fire rapidly is a tad sketchy lol, might need a better stock, suppressor or both to be able to comfortably handle it. I heard from another member that they might be over gassed from the factory, so that's something to look into as well. Either way for the money it turned out to be a good gun, and next time I'll take it out for 100 yards.Misc Firearms Crew
